Mutual Aid Between Two Worlds

Inside the command room at the top of Megalopolis Tower.

More than a dozen segmented displays were "broadcasting" the battles between the dozen or so Pokémon Xia Chen had sent out and the Ultra Beasts.

In East District One, a Pokémon with fiery red wings that gave off the impression of a sun, along with a humanoid Pokémon engulfed in ghostly violet flames, arrived on the battlefield.

With a flap of its wings, scorching flames swept through the Ultra Beast horde. Dozens of Kartana and Pheromosa, still utterly arrogant moments ago, writhed and struggled amid the sea of fire. Nearly half of the weaker Kartana failed to withstand the first wave of attacks and collapsed in the raging blaze.

A dark-purple figure darted like a ghost among the survivors. With every slash of its blade, an Ultra Beast met its end.

In South District Three, a Pokémon shimmering with a brilliant golden glow, as though forged from pure gold, appeared alongside a massive Pokémon with a towering frame and a silver-white steel shell on its back.

Their arrival immediately drew the attention of the Naganadel gathered there. They spat violent venom at the two uninvited guests, venom potent enough to corrode a mech's outer shell with ease.

When the rain-like torrent of venom ended, the two Pokémon were completely unscathed!

Then, the little golden figure with the ever-bright smile scattered countless gold coins, while the other, sticky-looking Pokémon fired silver-white beams of energy. Cries and screams promptly rose and fell throughout the Naganadel swarm.

In West District Five and North District Seven, wherever Xia Chen's Pokémon joined the battle, astonishing scenes unfolded one after another.
