When Steven saw Xia Chen's grim expression, he instead tried to comfort him. "It's not that bad, actually. The Ultra Beast invasion is already in its final stages. Besides, we haven't lost any Pokémon yet. Come to think of it, that's largely thanks to Champions Cynthia and Caitlin."

Xia Chen froze for a moment before remembering that the two of them had arrived in the Ultra World ahead of him not long ago. Yet he had not seen them, nor had he seen any of their Pokémon.

He could not help asking, "Right, why haven't I seen them? Where are they?"

Steven thought for a moment before replying, "They should still be at the hospital in Megalopolis Tower..."

Before he could finish, Xia Chen's expression abruptly changed. He turned and headed toward Megalopolis Tower.

Steven quickly grabbed him and added, "They're fine. They've just been commanding battles for days on end and are exhausted. They're probably catching up on sleep now."

Only then did Xia Chen stop. Turning back, he said, "Could you not leave me hanging like that next time?"

Steven rolled his eyes. "From the moment I said they were in the hospital to the moment you changed expression and walked off, it wasn't even half a second."

Xia Chen had no answer for that and gave an awkward smile.

Sometimes, reacting too quickly was not a good thing.

Xia Chen had complete faith in Metropolis's medical standards. Since Steven said Cynthia and the others needed rest more than anything, Xia Chen stopped thinking about Megalopolis Tower and continued deeper into the command center with Steven.
