Just then, a figure appeared in the light at the clinic entrance.

He wore a dark suit that looked somewhat old but was immaculately kept. His tie was neatly knotted, a blind cane rested in his hand, and his dark red sunglasses caught a faint glimmer of light.

He did not come in immediately. Instead, he paused in the doorway, tilting his head slightly as he took in his surroundings. He stood steady, and his movements had an uncanny precision, without the hesitation or searching motions often associated with blindness.

In the clinic's front room, Chen Bing looked up from tidying and spotted the unusual visitor. He went to greet him and asked warmly, "Hello, I'm Dr. Chen. Are you Matt, the one we're expecting?"

Matt Murdock turned toward Chen Bing's voice and smiled politely. "Yes, Dr. Chen. I'm Matt Murdock."

"Shall I take you to see them?" Chen Bing asked, instinctively moving to offer an arm.

Matt seemed to "see" the gesture. He raised a hand lightly to decline, his voice calm and confident. "Yes, if you could lead the way. Please don't worry. I can keep up."

Lin Hai had told Chen Bing about their guest's astonishingly sharp senses, but seeing them firsthand still made him curious. As he led the way, he could not help glancing back at Matt.

Matt followed half a step behind him, walking steadily. His cane tapped lightly against the floor, and he moved with the ease of someone who could see.

What surprised Chen Bing even more was that Matt seemed to notice his curious gaze. "Dr. Chen, there's no need to be so curious," he said, still calm. "My eyes may have a problem, but my other senses are unusually sharp. I can get around much like anyone else."
