Since Lin Hai had said so, Tony trusted him and retracted his helmet into the armor, then plopped back into his seat.

Lin Hai took two steps to the rear of the Quinjet, placed his hand on a conspicuous red button beside him, and pressed it.
The hydraulic system let out a low hum as the rear hatch slowly unfolded downward. The damp night wind, carrying the biting chill unique to high altitudes, instantly rushed into the cabin.
Once the hatch had fully opened, a figure stood on the extended platform.
He wore an Asgardian-style suit of scale armor. His medium-length golden hair streamed backward in the fierce high-altitude winds, while a bright red cape snapped behind him.
In his right hand, he held a short, square-headed hammer. Ancient runes on its surface glimmered blue-white beneath the occasional flashes of lightning in the clouds.
It was Thor, the God of Thunder.
Lin Hai waved at Thor on the platform and casually said, "Long time no see, Thor."
Thor looked a little stunned upon seeing Lin Hai. When he had arrived on Earth via the Bifrost earlier, Heimdall had only told him that Loki was aboard this Midgardian aircraft. He had never mentioned that Lin Hai was here too.
Had he known Lin Hai was on this plane, he definitely would not have jumped aboard in such an obviously unfriendly manner.
Seeing Thor standing dumbly on the platform, Lin Hai reminded him, "Get in already. What are you waiting for?"
