After discovering part of the truth behind Exodus's power, Miles began actively resisting the corrosive rust, shaken by what he had learned.
Exodus himself might be the strongest agent of Feirotus here. If so, Feirotus's corruption posed little threat to him. And if Miles fully allowed Feirotus's power to descend in Exodus's presence, he had no way of predicting what would happen next.
Most importantly, the others from the academy and the community's civilians were still here.
"Why reject the blessing?"
Exodus noticed Miles resisting the corruption and looked puzzled.
"He has already turned His gaze upon you and answered you. Your blessing is something countless believers could never attain even if they devoted their entire lives to it. Why reject it?"
"Because I don't need anything like that..."
Miles answered, then gritted his teeth. "Now, let me go!"
"Are you giving me orders?"
Exodus seemed unbothered, but then looked to the side.
"Frenzy," Joanna Cargill, and "Omega Red," Arkady Rossovich, charged at Exodus together under Miles's control!
"You two!"
Exodus frowned. Compared with his overwhelming telekinesis, his psychic abilities were ill-suited to finely manipulating other people's minds.
Joanna reached Exodus first, driving a fist packed with terrifying force straight at his face!
Almost simultaneously, several metal tentacles lashed out from Omega Red's back, whistling toward Exodus from different directions and cutting off every escape route.
Yet attacks of this caliber could not threaten Exodus at all.
"Pointless."
Invisible telekinetic force erupted!
Joanna's charging body stopped dead in midair, then flew backward and slammed into a wall. On the other side, Arcady's metal tentacles twisted and pulled taut before he and the tentacles were smashed into the ground!
Boom!
Miles paled, and his psychic links to both of them snapped.
"Is that the best
