"Three hours after you entered the Danger Room, Cable suddenly approached Ororo..."
As they retreated after temporarily shaking off their pursuers, Bobby quickly explained the situation to Miles and the others. "The Dusk Legion shouldn't have arrived for another ten hours or more, but Exodus suddenly opened a long-range portal and transported the entire Leviathan and the Dusk Legion here."
"You're saying Exodus opened a legion-scale portal across thousands of kilometers?" Miles blurted out in shock. "He has that kind of power?"
As someone who could also teleport, Miles knew perfectly well that ordinary travel through space and time and legion-scale, long-range teleportation were two entirely different things!
"We can barely understand it ourselves, but Bennett really is abnormally powerful now!"
Colossus added, then continued, "After that, Exodus defeated Ororo and took her away. The Institute's defenses are about to collapse, too. Luckily, the Resistance Army has opened a gateway to the Cellar base. We're organizing an evacuation."
"A gateway?" Miles looked at Domino and Warpath ahead of him.
"Gateway's ability. He can create a portal through space and time and keep it open for a while," Domino replied.
"A portal? Then do you know Clarice, 'Blink'?"
"I remember her. She was among the first to die in the Dusk War."
"All right, let's get back to Mr. Gateway, then." Miles sighed before asking, "Was Cable planning to evacuate us this way from the beginning? Then why didn't he say anything before we entered the Danger Room?"
"No, this wasn't Cable's original plan, because Gateway is in very poor health," Warpath replied. "He's very old. Every time he maintains his ability, it takes a tremendous toll on him. If Exodus hadn't appeared so suddenly, Cable wouldn't have contacted the base to ask Gateway for help."
"How did you contact them?
