Chapters 201–225 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 201Time Fugitive

Miles questioned Selene about the reality overwrite, missing allies, and Scott Summers before discovering that Wade Wilson had been frozen in a pod. Wade awakened, explained how he and Scott had fought the Avengers and been captured, and revealed his connection to the TVA; Miles left to deal with the ongoing battle while Wade was told to help Selene free Scott.

  • Miles asked Selene who else remembered the original world, where Betsy and the Frost Sisters had gone, and how she escaped Kamar-Taj; Selene said Wanda and her brother had vanished, as had Kamar-Taj, Betsy, and Esme.
  • Selene showed Miles that Scott Summers was imprisoned in a life-support pod after attacking President Richards because he remembered his vanished daughter Rachel.
  • Miles recognized the figure in a liquid-nitrogen pod as Wade Wilson, opened it, and awakened Wade with a psychic scalpel.
  • Wade recognized Miles, said he was a TVA agent, and explained that he had arrived during a temporal anomaly and joined Scott in fighting the Avengers at the White House.
  • Wade said the Avengers captured him and Scott and that he had been held in a superhuman research facility, where researchers froze him in liquid nitrogen.
  • Miles ordered Wade to get dressed and help Selene free Scott, then left the train car to handle the battle outside.

Ch. 202Mediation

  • Miles formed his Psypoint Armor and charged Vision as President Richards watched the battle and ordered a shadowy figure to handle him.

Ch. 203Ultimate Deterrence

Miles defeated the Avengers and captured Vision, but Apocalypse appeared and destroyed Hydra’s transport. Miles tried to shield his allies from Apocalypse’s attack, but the barrier shattered and he lost consciousness.

  • Miles used Aurora’s spacetime core and his amplified psychic powers to overcome Vision’s defenses and render him unconscious.
  • Miles ended the fight with the Avengers and contacted Baron Zemo, whose transport aircraft was destroyed by a cyan energy beam before it could reach the bridge.
  • Apocalypse appeared, and Deadpool excitedly tried to join him as a Horseman before Apocalypse threw him into the sea.
  • Miles warned the Hydra team about Apocalypse and urged them to retreat, but Apocalypse unleashed a storm of primal energy.
  • Miles raised a telekinetic barrier to protect the others, but Apocalypse struck it apart with a blow that knocked Miles unconscious.

Ch. 204Marcus

Miles and the others fought the overwhelming Marcus, whom they had mistaken for Apocalypse, until Scott unleashed a devastating blast that drove Marcus away. Scott collapsed after exhausting himself, while Miles was left confused by visions of repeated deaths and Marcus’s identity.

  • Natasha learned that the giant fighting Hydra was the Department of Defense’s secret weapon, Centurion, and Fury ordered her to evacuate.
  • Marcus overwhelmed Steve, Sam, Bucky, and the Hydra squad, while Miles failed to overpower him with telepathy.
  • Miles used the Phoenix Avatar and Aurora’s spatial lock to wound Marcus, but Marcus healed and attacked the collapsing bridge with his powers.
  • Miles contacted Legion for help, but visions of repeated deaths interrupted him; Marcus revealed that his name was Marcus, not Apocalypse.
  • Scott emerged from a sealed chamber and unleashed a powerful Impact blast, freeing the others and blasting Marcus away before collapsing.

Ch. 205Negotiation

After returning to Hydra headquarters, Miles discovered that this world's Apocalypse might be Nathaniel Richards's son, Marcus, and enlisted Vision to investigate his unexplained memory loss. As Vision used the Mind Stone to enter Miles's mind, Legion theorized that Miles had been killed countless times across timelines before being sent into the Quantum Realm.

  • Miles and the others realized Deadpool was missing, but he reappeared soaked and embraced Steve after Steve decided to go back for him.
  • At Hydra headquarters, Miles learned through the base's thoughts that Baron Zemo's Hydra had grown from the Doomsday Foundation into a resistance force against Nathaniel Richards's dictatorship.
  • Miles told Zemo that Apocalypse had called himself Marcus, and Zemo revealed that President Richards had a son by that name.
  • Miles brought the sleeping Vision to an interrogation room and asked him to use the Mind Stone to investigate Miles's memory problem; Vision initially refused, then agreed to view Miles's memories.
  • Inside Miles's mind, Legion suggested that whoever sent Miles to the Quantum Realm had repeatedly killed him across timelines before choosing exile instead.

Ch. 206The Truth of the World

Vision discovered that Miles had repeatedly vanished because a hidden army of Kangs was killing him across timelines, while reality concealed the deaths. After Legion destroyed the world revealed by Vision, Miles realized the Kangs were searching for a way to kill them completely without destroying the world.

  • Miles gave Aurora a human body and celebrated her birthday with her, while Vision observed the memory world and discovered that its history differed sharply from his own.

  • Immortus told Rama-Tut that Loki had protected Miles Zero by severing his past, then vowed to take the God of Time’s authority for himself.
  • B-15 and the TVA agents attempted to arrest Immortus and Rama-Tut, but Rama-Tut vanished and Immortus used the Eternal Crystal to overwrite the agents’ loyalties in Kang’s favor.
  • Miles and his personalities theorized that timeline overwrites combined versions of Miles who existed with versions who never existed, gradually erasing his memories and existence.
  • Miles rejected the idea of surrendering and decided to seek the Time Stone, reasoning that the Infinity Stones should still exist in the altered world.

Ch. 208Searching for the Time Stone

  • Legion restored the Time Controller after Immortus broke it, opened a golden portal, and stepped through as Doom and Immortus watched helplessly.

Ch. 212The Meaning of Existence

Legion pursued Supreme Doom and Immortus, only to discover that Immortus had split himself across time and could multiply whenever killed. Immortus used the Eternal Crystal to rewrite Legion’s past, saving Legion’s world but erasing the history that brought him to Miles; as Legion began to disappear, he erased Mr. Sinister and prepared to act before vanishing.

  • Legion destroyed Supreme Doom’s defenses, but the castle’s occupant was a Doom Robot, and the Eye of Agamotto he took was a fake.
  • Legion killed Immortus at the End of Time, then discovered that further Immortuses kept appearing and that each death created another Immortus personality within Miles.
  • Legion realized Immortus had used Time Severance to create independent versions of himself across time, while Miles and Legion fought the first Immortus personality in the mental world.
  • Immortus-Miles took control, used the Eternal Crystal to find Legion’s past, and rewrote history so Legion’s world survived its impending destruction.
  • The changed history made Legion and the other personalities begin to disappear, so Legion erased Mr. Sinister and gathered his remaining strength to act before vanishing.

Ch. 213Legion's Choice

Legion sacrificed himself to destroy the Eternal Crystal and save the altered history, leaving Miles to face Immortus and the Council of Kangs. With Aurora’s help, Miles awakened the Spacetime Energy Core and fought back, but as he was trapped, Mr. Sinister appeared in the material world with Legion’s powers and offered to hold off the Kangs.

  • Legion rejected Immortus’s claim that his sacrifice had saved the world, then destroyed the Eternal Crystal and vanished after giving Miles a crystal shard.
  • Miles used the Phoenix Avatar to burn Immortus’s projection and Immortus’s Castle, but Immortus survived and summoned the Council of Kangs to hunt Miles.
  • Aurora used the Spacetime Energy Core to hold back the Kangs while Miles forcibly broke through its Quantum Lockdown and unleashed Temporal Annihilation to absorb their attacks.
  • Miles used psychic power to turn several Kangs against one another and opened a Space-Time Portal, but Immortus disrupted it and prevented his escape.

Ch. 216Holy Domain

Supreme Doom brought Miles and Mr. Sinister to the Holy Domain and used a Dimensional Rift Generator to unleash Limbo’s demons against the invading Kangs. As the Holy Domain began to fail and Immortus arrived seeking Miles’s Eternal Crystal fragment, Doom sent Miles and Mr. Sinister back to Earth to recover history while he faced Immortus alone.

  • Supreme Doom opened a portal to his lair as a fleet of Kangs overwhelmed the place where Miles and Mr. Sinister had been standing.

  • Immortus used the damaged Eternal Crystal to overwrite Doom’s history, but Doom’s Eye of Agamotto restored him and let him bind and blast Immortus.
  • Doom’s Time Loop returned him to the moment he sent Miles back to Earth, but Immortus and his variants attacked again and destroyed Doom’s overwritten form.
  • The loop reset once more, leaving Doom facing three Immortuses as he hoped Miles Zero would hurry.
  • On Earth, Apocalypse defeated Steve, Bucky, and Deadpool while the Avengers hesitated, and Tony refused to explain the President’s secret.
  • Natasha attacked Apocalypse and declared she had left S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers after Steve did, then Black Panther joined her after receiving a warning from Buster.
  • Deadpool approached Natasha and Black Panther and said he had a plan to take down Apocalypse.

Ch. 218Deadpool's Plan

Deadpool transported Apocalypse to TVA headquarters after Apocalypse defeated the heroes and read Bucky’s memories, then the TVA pruned Deadpool and revealed that Apocalypse was Marcus, an ally of Immortus. Immortus dismissed the threat of Miles Zero while the Multiverse branches turned Kang’s purple, claiming the God of Time could not intervene.

  • Deadpool’s proposed attack went ignored as Black Panther and Black Widow fought Apocalypse, who overpowered them with his strength and body-altering abilities.
  • Iron Man and War Machine observed the battle, while Steve, Bucky, Natasha, and Black Panther joined forces against Apocalypse and were defeated.
  • Apocalypse seized Bucky and invaded his mind, learning about Miles Zero, Aurora, the Sorcerer Supreme, and the Time Stone.

  • Immortus offered Deadpool a lifelong vacation in The Void, and a TVA agent pruned him; Apocalypse revealed himself as Marcus and joined Immortus.
  • Immortus told Marcus that another version of himself was handling Miles Zero, as the Multiverse branches turned purple and spread toward the main timeline.

Ch. 219Warden Kang

Miles returned to find Hydra and Tony Stark’s forces confronting each other, but his attack on Tony was interrupted by Warden Kang. After Kang escaped and the group regrouped aboard a transport plane, Miles revealed that their world’s history had been overwritten and identified Ancient Egypt around 2960 BC as the key divergence point.

  • Miles returned to the battlefield, stopped Tony from leaving, and attacked him before Warden Kang appeared between them.
  • Miles broke through Warden Kang’s time-dilation field, pierced one Kang android with a Phoenix Spear, and forced the remaining enemies to escape, but his exhaustion kept him from pursuing them.
  • Aboard the transport plane, Miles learned that Wade had taken Apocalypse and introduced the group to Mr. Sinister, who said he would soon become Nathaniel Essex.
  • Miles contacted Baron Zemo, Vision, and Selene, then explained that Time Overlords had overwritten the world’s history.

Ch. 220The Source of the Historical Anomaly

Miles explained that Immortus had altered the world’s history and outlined a mission to travel to Ancient Egypt and restore the past. He recruited Selene and sought Hank Pym’s help building a time machine, while revealing a possible way to save Scott with an Eternal Crystal fragment.

  • Miles explained that Immortus used the Eternal Crystal to overwrite history, but its destruction had limited his power and created a chance to stop him.
  • Miles proposed traveling to Ancient Egypt in 5000 BCE to correct the historical anomaly, and Selene agreed to help under conditions that included obtaining an Immortus’s body.
  • Miles revealed that Scott was close to death and showed the group a fragment of the Eternal Crystal as an alternative to the unavailable Time Stone.
  • At the Pym Estate, Hank Pym struggled to explain the altered world through science, and Janet calmed him with her biological Lightwave.
  • Aurora arrived to evacuate Hank, and Miles opened a spacetime gate from Sokovia and asked Hank to help build a time machine.

Ch. 221Brookmont Elementary School

Scott Lang’s attempt to enjoy parent storytelling day at Cassie’s school was interrupted when the Department of Defense attacked, and Warden Kang confronted Miles. Miles rescued Scott and Cassie, while Richards prepared a strike on Sokovia and Kang began awakening an army of artificially bred Mutants.

  • Miles learned that Hank Pym had analyzed the Eternal Crystal’s energy and used his new Energy Manipulation ability to activate the shard.
  • Miles assembled an expedition to Ancient Egypt with Aurora, Selene, Scott Summers, and King T’Challa, then added Scott Lang at Pym’s suggestion.
  • Miles used the Eternal Crystal’s Time Overwrite to restore Scott Summers’s body to an earlier healthy condition without erasing his memories.
  • Scott Summers woke and told Miles that he had dreamed of Jean, who had sent him back to bring their daughter Rachel home.

Ch. 223Genetic Technology Consultant

Mr. Sinister was ordered by Warden Kang to prepare a cloned Mutant army for an attack on Sokovia, then was confined at the genetic factory. In Sokovia, Miles and Dr. Pym advanced the Spacetime Engine tests, but Miles learned Nathaniel had gone silent and warned Baron Zemo that the enemy’s assault might be imminent.

  • Mr. Sinister discovered that the cloned Mutants lacked basic cognition and proposed using psychic control to train them within Warden Kang’s thirty-hour deadline.
  • Warden Kang revealed he would attack Sokovia in a little over forty hours, ordered Mr. Sinister to arm the legion, and forbade him from leaving the factory.
  • Steve and Natasha discussed the risks of changing history, Hulk’s imprisonment, and the upcoming expedition before Baron Zemo signaled that Wakanda’s team had arrived.
  • T’Challa and Shuri arrived at Sokovia Base to support the Ancient Egypt operation, while Shuri asked to see Miles and the Spacetime Engine work.

  • Tony warned Rhodes to avoid the coming battle and learned that Little Charles used a wheelchair by choice because Dr. Essex said it made telepaths look authoritative.
  • Warden Kang decided to have Essex reshape Tony’s understanding and planned to capture Aurora, while the Helicarrier detected Shuri and Scott’s shrunken Wakandan aircraft.
  • After the Helicarrier struck their aircraft, Scott leaped out on a flying ant and infiltrated the hangar, where Tony encountered him but deliberately missed with his repulsor blast and left.
  • Kang ordered the Mutants to capture Scott, but Scott enlarged a transmitter and opened a Space-Time Portal to Sokovia.
  • Steve, Bucky, Rumlow, Cyclops, Black Panther, and Miles emerged from the portal, and Little Charles admired Miles’s floating chair and Mind Amplifier.

Ch. 225Psychic Invasion
