Miles and the Fantastic Four investigated Galactus’s weakening power and tried to save Earth, while Doom pursued a plan to kill Galactus and trap Abraxas. After Doom’s plan erased the universe, Miles restored it with the World Anchor and went through the World Gate to confront Abraxas.

• Doom revealed that Galactus would reach Earth in forty days and invited Reed and Miles to help complete the Big Bang Cannon, but Reed chose to investigate Galactus first.
• Miles helped the Fantastic Four investigate Galactus, and after Galactus demanded Susan’s newborn Franklin, the team discovered that Galactus was weakening because his energy was being drained through time.
• Miles and the Fantastic Four fought Terrax, and Miles killed him with Phoenix Fire despite the Silver Surfer’s intervention.
• Reed organized a worldwide network of Cosmic Energy Dampeners, but Galactus adapted to the field as his heralds and Punisher Robots attacked the nodes.
• Doom shut down the dampening network, lured Galactus to Latveria with Franklin, absorbed Galactus’s power, and killed him, releasing Abraxas.
• Doom used the World Anchor and the Ultimate Nullifier to erase the universe and stop Abraxas, but Abraxas began forcing its way back, so Doom annihilated himself.
• Miles found Doom in Doom Domain and persuaded him to use the World Anchor to restore the universe, then destroyed Doom’s robot double and entered the World Gate.

After helping save Universe-828, Miles was pulled into a wasteland world ruled by Feirotus’s influence and hunted because he resembled its Black Spirit King. He reached Xavier Institute, learned more about his counterpart, and became trapped with its defenders as Exodus attacked to capture him.

• Miles and Doom confronted Abraxas as realities collapsed, and Franklin used Galactus’s energy to restore the universe and drive Abraxas away.
• A Nevada cult summoned Miles into a ruined world, where Quentin Quire and the Omega Gang took him from the awakened Sentinel threat.
• Miles learned that the Black Spirit King was his counterpart and that Feirotus’s return had devastated the world, then joined the Omega Gang on its journey to Greymalkin.
• Miles reached Xavier Institute, met Rogue and Ororo, and learned that his counterpart had killed several senior X-Men before Cable warned that the Dusk Legion was coming for him.
• Miles entered the Danger Room to investigate his counterpart, defeated Uodo in the Negative Zone, and eventually broke through a simulation that let him complete his training with Zero.
• Exodus brought the Dusk Legion to Greymalkin and demanded Miles and Nathan Summers, while the X-Men fought to defend the Institute and evacuate its people.
• Miles stalled the Dusk Knights as Rogue and Quentin helped the evacuees, but Exodus collapsed Gateway’s portal and trapped Miles and the others before him.
• Exodus seized Miles and said the Black Spirit King wanted to see him, while Nightcrawler found Cable imprisoned aboard the Leviathan and recognized Nazca as his guard.
