History

Pursuit of Tang Hao

Golden Crocodile Douluo led Qingluan Douluo, Lion Douluo, Chrysanthemum Douluo, and Ghost Douluo in Spirit Hall’s early operation against Tang Hao and five-year-old Tang San. His Rank 98 pressure and giant golden claw forced Tang Hao into detonating all nine of his soul rings to escape; Golden Crocodile crushed Tang Hao’s right arm during the retreat. 2

After Ghost Douluo located A Yin’s hidden cave, Golden Crocodile seized the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone. He ordered A Yin’s Blue Silver Grass form uprooted and transported to Spirit City specifically to torment Tang Hao. 2 3

Ye Yuan’s Protector

When Qian Daoliu left Heaven Dou City, Golden Crocodile remained as Spirit Hall’s Rank 98 “anchor of the nation.” He arrived during Tang San’s attempted escape, killed Bai He with one strike, and accepted Ye Yuan’s judgment that pursuing the apparent Tang Chen would be too dangerous. 41

He later served as Ye Yuan’s concealed safeguard during the operation against Xiao Wu, Daming, and Erming. When Erming attacked Ye Yuan, Golden Crocodile emerged and severely injured the Titan Giant Ape with a single tail strike. 47 50

Sea God Island Campaign

Ye Yuan selected Golden Crocodile as Spirit Hall’s candidate for the Sea God inheritance because the Golden Crocodile King martial soul possesses affinity with oceanic laws. Though Golden Crocodile initially believed divine inheritance should belong to the younger generation, Qian Daoliu convinced him to accept the mission as a means of reclaiming Spirit Hall’s honor on Sea God Island. 69

On Sea God Island, Golden Crocodile’s recognition as the Sea God’s successor gave Spirit Hall leverage over Bo Saixi and the Sacred Pillar Guardians. He used that authority to support Ye Yuan’s demands, including the construction of a Spirit Hall branch on the island. 75 77 81 83

At the branch’s completion ceremony, he publicly knelt before Ye Yuan and addressed him as “Imperial Sovereign,” visibly placing the Sea God’s successor beneath the Spirit Hall ruler in the islanders’ eyes. 83

Capital of Slaughter

After claiming the Sea God Trident, Golden Crocodile accompanied Ye Yuan, Qian Daoliu, and Bo Saixi to the Capital of Slaughter. He fought Tang Chen alongside Qian Daoliu, combining his Martial Soul Avatar and the Trident’s One Way, No Return against Tang Chen’s Demigod-enhanced Asura Divine Sword. 91 95
