Tang San grew up in Holy Soul Village, where he lived an isolated childhood. He recalls having no friends, practicing, eating, and sleeping alone while his father, Tang Hao, spoke little to him. He also carries memories of a previous life in the Tang Sect, where fellow disciples avoided him. 3 13

He entered Notting Junior Soul Master Academy as a work-study student after Yu Xiaogang verified his Spirit Hall proof. At enrollment, Tang San introduced himself to Xiao Wu and Luo Yan as the owner of the Blue Silver Grass martial soul. 2

Tang San quickly became part of Dorm Seven’s leadership struggle. He and Xiao Wu destroyed Wang Sheng’s thrown bench together, then Tang San defeated Wang Sheng and earned the right to challenge for the dormitory’s leadership. Luo Yan redirected that challenge into Tang San’s spar with Xiao Wu. 3

During the visit to Holy Soul Village, Tang San found that Tang Hao had left the blacksmith shop. Xiao Wu and Luo Yan helped him clean the abandoned home, and Tang San came to recognize them as the companions who had ended his loneliness.
