Background / History

Xiao Wu first appears alone outside Notting City, surrounded by nine Soul Masters. Though outnumbered, she refuses to run and prepares to summon her Soft Bone Rabbit Martial Soul. Luo Yan intervenes, makes her the referee of his “whoever laughs first loses” game, and defeats the group through his rule-based Spirit Skill. The two discover that they are both traveling to Notting Junior Spirit Master Academy and continue to the city together. Luo Yan privately recognizes her concealed identity as a transformed hundred-thousand-year-old Soft Bone Rabbit. 1

At the academy gates, Xiao Wu immediately attacks the gatekeeper after he humiliates Old Jack and refuses Tang San’s recommendation letter. She subsequently enrolls with Tang San and Luo Yan as a work-study student. 2

Dorm Seven operates by the rule that its strongest resident becomes boss. After Tang San defeats Wang Sheng, Luo Yan redirects the final challenge toward Xiao Wu; she accepts enthusiastically and defeats Tang San with Waigong.
