Background / History

Tang San lived in Holy Spirit Village with his father, Tang Hao. Before his Spirit Hall assessment, he regularly gathered firewood and cooked while Tang Hao drank heavily. Li Daotian knew him as a fellow village child and encountered him while he was collecting firewood. 1

Li Daotian’s Divine Thief System identified Tang San as possessing “protagonist fortune” and stole it without Tang San’s knowledge. The theft changed Tang San’s destiny into one marked by hardship and briefly caused an unexplained disturbance over the village. 1

At the Martial Soul awakening ceremony, Tang San displayed level-eight innate Soul Power and awakened Blue Silver Grass. Su Yuntao deemed the Martial Soul nearly useless and refused to support his enrollment in a Spirit Master Academy. Tang Hao angrily rejected that judgment but ordered Tang San to focus on blacksmithing and household work instead. 3
