Ning Fengzhi presides over Ning Rongrong and Lin Xiao’s Martial Soul awakening. He is overwhelmed by Rongrong’s innate rank 9 Soul Power, believing she may be able to overcome the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda’s traditional rank-79 limit. 1

Lin Xiao’s innate full Soul Power and unprecedented army of detached Guga Martial Souls convince Ning Fengzhi to invest the sect’s resources in his cultivation. He asks Lin Xiao to address him as “Uncle Ning” and receives his promise to protect the sect. 2
