The arc ended with An Chen facing Zhao Wuji in Shrek’s final admission trial as Zhao Wuji challenged him to reveal his remaining abilities.

• An Chen awakened an iron-pot Martial Soul with Innate Full Soul Power, joined Tieyan Junior Soul Master Academy, and absorbed a Shadow Leopard Soul Ring that granted him Black Fog.
• An Chen advanced on the Secrets Suppliant pathway, learned to use Spirit Vision and the Acting Method, and completed his potion digestion after surviving the Blood Moon incident in Tieyan City.
• An Chen won the freshmen combat assessment and fought Wu Ming in a duel that ended without a clear victor.
• Six years later, An Chen reached Level 29, said goodbye to his friends and adoptive parents, and left to find Tang San at Shrek Academy.
• An Chen intervened when Dai Mubai fought Tang San at the Rose Hotel, then traveled with Tang San and Xiao Wu to Shrek Academy.
• An Chen passed the first three admission tests with Tang San, Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing, then joined their group for Zhao Wuji’s final trial.

At Sanchao Post, he uncovered Mokai’s ritual and the corruption behind the Whale Glue, then purified it and gained a third Soul Ring before continuing inland.

• An Chen and Tang San passed Zhao Wuji’s admission test, and An Chen joined the Shrek students as they trained and fought at the Suotuo Great Soul Arena.
• An Chen broke through to Rank 30 and accompanied the group to the Star Dou Great Forest, where Oscar gained a flight Soul Skill and Tang San reached level thirty.
• After a Titan Giant Ape carried Xiao Wu away and she returned safely, Grandmaster arrived wearing a silver-rimmed Monocle, and an identical An Chen appeared, prompting the real An Chen to flee.
• An Chen traveled to Sanchao Post seeking Whale Glue, met Mokai, and discovered ritual materials and Whale Glue marked with the same strange traces as Mokai’s skin.
• Mokai attacked An Chen with vine-like growths and tried to sacrifice him, but An Chen used “Ignite” to overwhelm Mokai and later explored his hidden rooms and Altar.
• An Chen collected the contaminated Whale Glue and escaped as news spread that Hall Master Cang had fought an Evil Soul Master at Mokai’s residence.
• An Chen purified the Whale Glue through a ritual to The Fool, absorbed it, and hunted a five-thousand-year Double-Headed Wolf for his third Soul Ring.
• An Chen survived the wolf’s Soul Ring fusing with him and his Iron Pot, then opened his eyes with yellow, yellow, and purple Soul Rings.

An Chen entered Xiangshi Valley to seek a cure for his damaged Spirituality, then traveled to Arles City, where a mysterious mark drew him into the XXX Club’s schemes. He joined Guan Yue and Dongxi to investigate Modili’s disappearance, and they ended up trapped in a Painting World where Modili fought the corrupted Adrian.

• An Chen found the Gray Fog consuming Xiangshi Valley, refused Edmond’s request to inherit his mission, and helped bring about Edmond’s disappearance and the village’s collapse.
• An Chen returned to traveling after collecting Youxiang Grass, learned the Gray-White Staff’s abilities, and completed his Hermit Potion digestion by choosing not to interfere in a tavern dispute.
• An Chen visited Arles City, dreamed of a starlit giant and a battle beyond a barrier, and discovered an eye-mark on his arm that also appeared on his aura.
• An Chen investigated the XXX Art Club and learned that its president’s symbol matched the mark on his arm, while a ritual vision showed someone painting his image.
• Guan Yue and Dongxi told An Chen that Modili and Adrian had disappeared and that Modili’s notebook linked his investigation to the XXX Club, so An Chen agreed to help find them.
• An Chen joined Guan Yue and Dongxi’s raid on the XXX Club, but they found its hidden chamber empty as Kane unveiled a shifting painting of Arles City.
• An Chen and Guan Yue entered the Painting World, where Modili fought the corrupted Adrian, and An Chen trapped a paint-made Thunder Saint Tiger in Black Fog.

An Chen escaped Adrian’s Painting World, reached Spirit City, and gained power through Immortal Herbs and a Shadow Demon Wolf Soul Ring. As he evaded the Birdman and dealt with spreading anomalies, he helped villagers and continued pursuing the means to break free of his world’s limits.

• An Chen negotiated with Adrian to remove his mark and free Arles City’s residents, then left the Painting World with Modili and Guan Yue.
• An Chen reached Spirit City, reunited with Elder Chen, refined Immortal Herbs, and broke through level forty before hunting a Shadow Demon Wolf.
• An Chen absorbed the wolf’s Soul Ring, reached level forty-eight, and demonstrated his new Shadow Servant ability.
• An Chen survived attacks by a cloaked Birdman through Flesh Magic and deception, then traveled in disguise while tracking strange rituals and threats.
