Fate's Variables

--At the turn of a thought, this stretch of spacetime beneath Heaven quietly recovered from its frozen state.

In the blink of an eye.

With nothing restraining it any longer, that mysterious radiance from beyond the heavens plummeted at tremendous speed, as though the Heavenly Heart had resonated with Heaven and Earth!

For the balance of Heaven and Earth in this world had already been broken. Yin and yang were in turmoil, humanity was weak, demons and monsters ravaged the world, and of the Three Powers, "Heaven" had already been lost. Thus, without form or shape, the yin aspect had grown dominant!

Violence, demonic and evil forces, yin, turbidity, and every manner of baleful energy erupted. Karma had grown heavy, humans and demons fought, and the imperial order had reached its end! Boundless killing intent was stirred, and a chaotic game was sure to begin, creating the momentum for overthrowing the old order and replacing the dynasty.

Only now did that dim, misty radiance suddenly become stained with boundless evil, violence, and murderous energy. Within it, an immense killing intent took shape, crimson blood spilling everywhere, as though Heaven itself were weeping blood!

Deep in the firmament.

First came a muffled hum from the far western reaches. It was neither thunder nor lightning, but sounded like an ancient giant bell struck by an invisible force. The sound waves spread outward, churning the sea of clouds and making the stars tremble.

Then, several strange colors suddenly appeared at the edge of the sky!

It began as an extremely thin line of scarlet, lightly slicing across the azure canopy in the distant sky. But the red shadow abruptly swelled. No longer a fine mark, it transformed into a surging river of blood!
