Inside the warship Fortune, several blue Thunderhawk Gunships landed on the deck in succession. Dozens of U Chapter Astartes, nearly three meters tall and clad in blue Power Armor, disembarked with Boltguns in hand.
Li Qinwu jumped out of one of the Shuttles and called out loudly:
"Come on, don't be shy! Make yourselves at home!"
Titus stepped off a Thunderhawk Gunship with several Astartes. Two of them dragged a chain attached to a wheeled metal crate.
The metal crate was covered in Purity Seals. Inside was the daemonic cauldron, temporarily sealed away.
Titus glanced around the Fortune's deck and got straight to the point:
"Lord Inquisitor, let's go directly to the Shipboard Cathedral and deal with the daemonic cauldron as soon as possible.
Let me make this clear beforehand: if you cannot destroy the daemonic cauldron completely, I will take it away!"
Li Qinwu cheerfully assured him that he would, then led everyone toward the Shipboard Cathedral.
Inside the Shipboard Cathedral stood an enormous statue of the God-Emperor, with smaller statues of the Loyalist Faction's Gene-Primarchs beside it.
Unlike the Imperium's traditional statues, these incorporated quite a few Eastern elements. There was even a golden halo of merit behind the God-Emperor, while several Gene-Primarchs resembled arhats, their eyes wide with wrath. The Imperial Cult clergy chanting scriptures here were all monks, too.
The Imperium's territory was vast, and most of what Warhammer works depicted followed the conventions of the Western world.
In reality, though, the world of Warhammer 40,000 had been designed from the outset as a great big grab bag, stuffed with elements from all over the real world!
Eastern elements could be found alongside those of the Arab world, as well as elements from Africa and North America.
In the classic Warhammer 40,000 setting, there were even
