In a corner of the valley, near the disk-shaped structure, two Eldar were struggling amid the ruins of shattered Eldar buildings.
Judging by their builds, both were female Eldar. The weaker one had already collapsed on the ground, and from her attire, she was an Aeldari Warrior.
The other held a staff and wore a Power Sword at her waist. The one doing everything she could to care for the fallen Aeldari Warrior was an Eldar Warlock.
Warlocks were equivalent to grassroots Eldar commanders, figures on the level of Astartes Company captains. They used both conventional weapons and Psychic Power in combat and were elite commanders among Eldar forces.
Both wore extremely heavy Power Armor. It seemed specially modified, making it look like exceptionally thick protective suits.
Yet these protective suits had clearly failed to serve their purpose. Both Eldar were now terribly weakened.
The Aeldari Warrior lay directly on the ground. The Warlock, thanks to her Psychic Power training and formidable mental strength, could still resist.
She was holding the Aeldari Warrior in her arms and said anxiously:
"Atasha! Don't give in!
"If you give in here, the instant your soul is drawn into your Spirit Stone, it will carry a massive amount of Warp energy with it. Your Spirit Stone will be contaminated, and your soul will be torn to pieces!"
The Aeldari Warrior named Atasha was already at her limit. Tears flowed beneath her helmet.
"Daal, if this mining mission fails, does that mean the Craftworld has no future?"
Warlock Daal's expression beneath her heavy protective helmet turned complicated.
