Li Qinwu weighed the Corrupted Spirit Stone in his hand, wondering if it counted as an item produced by the dungeon map. But what was it good for?
Spirit Stones were immensely important to the Eldar. Every Eldar had to possess one, and their quantity directly determined the upper limit of the Eldar population. It could even threaten the survival of the entire race.
Some Craftworld Eldar were forced to implement population controls because Spirit Stones were too scarce, reducing the number of newborns.
So, to the Eldar, Spirit Stones were practically as precious as their lifeblood.
But in Li Qinwu's hands, it was utterly useless. Besides, this Spirit Stone had been polluted.
One line in the system description read: A polluted Spirit Crystal, filled with the stench of Warp demons. A worthless rotten stone.
Li Qinwu clicked his tongue and weighed the Spirit Stone.
It was still the first item he had obtained from the dungeon map. How could it be dismissed as worthless?
He thought for a moment, then suddenly had an idea.
He pressed his palms together, enclosing the Spirit Stone between them, then summoned the God-Emperor's Psychic Power and covered the stone with it.
The next moment, the God-Emperor's Psychic Power entered the Spirit Stone and dispelled the Warp corruption within it.
More than ten seconds later, Li Qinwu opened his hands and inspected the Spirit Crystal through the system again. Its description had changed to:
Spirit Stone, the priceless treasure of the Eldar. One intact Spirit Crystal represents one Eldar infant, one race's hope.
Although the stone was still of little use to Li Qinwu, he had at least removed the Warp corruption and raised its value by a tier.
Li Qinwu was quite pleased. He tossed the Spirit Stone straight into Diced Pepper Fish
