Demiurge frowned slightly.

That was a little tight on time.

Most of the resources on the list required multiple stages of technological processing. They were not natural resources, which meant that aside from cultivating and gathering raw materials, they would also need to build factories for processing.

If it were only for a short-term emergency, they could simply gather raw materials and toss them into the Tower Spirit Space for processing.

However, the demand for these resources would be long-term, and might even expand year by year. Building factories had therefore become a necessity.

The factories already on the surface had been abandoned for years, and only a handful were still usable. In other words, they would need to be rebuilt from scratch.

Equipment would not be a problem. With the Tower Spirit around, as long as they had blueprints, any equipment produced would be absolutely top-of-the-line.

But building factories would leave them desperately short on manpower.

Nazarick was still far from developing processing plants that required no manpower and were fully automated.

And in a world crawling with zombies, even if he threw all hundred thousand-plus Umbrella personnel into it, they would still be a drop in the bucket compared to the number of factories he planned to build.

"Alva, are the zombies on the surface still of any use?"

Adjusting his glasses, Demiurge suddenly asked.
