The Biological Brain had originally been developed to boost the combat power of the Guardians' rank. However, due to current technological limitations and insufficient processing power, it was not even as powerful as the Guardians' own computational abilities, making it temporarily rather useless.

That was only true for Guardians. If used by ordinary people, it would be like adding an overpowered cheat that greatly enhanced memory, logical reactions, and comprehension.

Moreover, the Biological Brain could identify electronic signals and download or transmit data. Once widely distributed, it could rapidly spread knowledge and provide enormous benefits to all kinds of research.

When Alva had introduced it to him in the Hive laboratory of the Resident Evil World, Ryan had not considered this. But it was not too late now.
