Reunion

Several of them returned to the dormitory with their arms around each other's shoulders.

Seeing the dense killing aura emanating from the three of them, it was obvious that their journey had not been peaceful and that they had done plenty of killing. However, they had all matured considerably compared to before. Kane was now a Peak Level Five Warrior, while Kateburen had also reached Early Level Five.

"The four brothers of Dorm 2008 are finally all together again today." The four of them returned to the dormitory together.

"Third Brother, when did you get back? You made us go looking for you in the Magical Beast Forest. We nearly died there!" After Kane and the others returned to the dormitory and washed up, they gathered around. Kate draped an arm over Wharton's shoulder and asked.

"I've been back for several months. Since none of you were around, I figured you had probably gone out to train as well. I didn't expect you to be gone for so long," Wharton said.

It turned out that after Kane broke through to become a Fifth-Level Warrior, the three of them saw that Wharton still had not returned and decided to go look for him. "This magical beast uprising came too suddenly. The Empire simply had no time to organize a defense. Otherwise, they would not have conscripted students like us," Bulen said.

"I heard there were seventy or eighty thousand magical beasts involved in this uprising. Luckily, we were all relatively young and were assigned to the rear. Otherwise, it would be hard to say whether we could have returned alive," Kane said.

"The Crimson Blood Army stationed at the Magical Beast Fortress probably suffered the worst losses. More than ten thousand were killed or wounded. If the Empire had not sent several Level Nine Warriors, the Magical Beast Fortress would likely have been breached."

The group spoke one after another, recounting their experiences during this trip.

After the magical beasts retreated, they entered the Magical Beast Forest again to search for Wharton. Because of their age and the large number of Magic Crystal Cores they had obtained at the Magical Beast Fortress, they quickly became targets. They were almost constantly fighting in the Magical Beast Forest. Kate and Bulen both broke through to become Fifth-Level Warriors, while Kane reached the Sixth-Level Peak after breaking through to Peak Level Five and transforming into a Tiger-Striped Warrior, making him comparable to a Level Seven Warrior. Though they escaped danger without serious harm, they still had an extremely difficult time returning to Crimson Flame City.

After hearing their account, Wharton was deeply moved. They had gone through the magical beast uprising and even ventured deep into the Magical Beast Forest to search for him, placing themselves in danger for his sake.

Wharton also told them about his experiences in the Magical Beast Forest, including Little Gold. Of course, he did not mention the Saint-Domain Magic Crystal Core, only glossing over it briefly. The others did not press him for details.

He would find a chance to bring Little Gold over and introduce it to them. After the four brothers finished dinner together,

"Big Brother, I have something to tell you all," Wharton said as he looked at Kane and the other two.

Wharton told the few of them about the Foundation-Building Pill and watched as they consumed it and succeeded. Among them, Kane directly broke through to the Mid-Level Six Warrior, reaching the Mid-Level Seven Warrior after his Tiger-Striped Transformation, while Kateburen broke through straight to the Peak Level Six Warrior, with the possibility of breaking through at any moment. This was also due to the accumulation of the few of them over this period of time; even without the Foundation-Building Pill, settling down would have allowed them to break through very soon.
