Background

Little Gold was born to Deloris, a Saint-Domain Golden Giant Tiger, shortly before her fatal battle with the Thunder Dragon Rastel. Deloris had recently given birth and was severely weakened; after burning her life essence to kill Rastel, she entrusted her winged cub to Wharton Baruch. Wharton accepted, promising to treat the cub as family rather than property. He formed an equal contract with him, preserving the cub’s foundation and establishing the soul link that would define their partnership. 17

Following Deloris’s death, the cub instinctively devoured Rastel’s corpse and Saint-Domain Magic Crystal Core. The conflicting powers sealed him in a cocoon for roughly half a month. He survived the metamorphosis as a sixth-rank, wind-and-lightning dual-element magical beast covered in dark-golden dragon scales. 17

Wharton named him “Little Gold” after learning that Deloris had never given him a name. Little Gold accepted the name readily, caring more about remaining with Wharton—whom he began calling his “big brother” and later “boss.” 18

Appearance

Little Gold initially resembles a young tiger with an extra pair of wings. His mutation gives him dragon-like scales and an increasingly unusual physique as his cultivation advances.

Godhood and the Tomb of the Gods

Little Gold becomes a god after years of cultivation and gains human form. He joins Linley’s group in the Tomb of the Gods, captures an Abyssal Blade Demon leader, fights Lower Gods, and helps prevent enemies from escaping during the twelfth-floor battles. 138 139 144

Odin’s Defeat

Little Gold intercepts Odin as he attempts to flee through a teleportation array. After narrowly surviving Odin’s Death Web, he uses Tiger Roars Through the Mountains to kill Odin and seize his Divine Spark. 270

Alexia and Family

Little Gold’s rescue of Alexia reveals a more compassionate side beneath his usual bravado. He ultimately chooses duty to Wharton’s missing family members over remaining in Jade Flood Dragon City, but Alexia chooses to accompany him.
