Background / History
Founding
The Senju and Uchiha alliance, publicly recognized through a pact issued in the Land of Fire daimyo's name, signaled that Konoha and the One Country, One Village system were imminent 1. In October, Hashirama and Madara established Konoha with the daimyo's support; the resulting agreement transferred the Land of Fire's military defense from independent clans to the new village 11.
The village rapidly absorbed major Land of Fire clans, including the Sarutobi, Yamanaka, Nara, Akimichi, and Inuzuka. The Hyuga initially remained cautious, but later joined after Hashirama personally visited them repeatedly 11 33. Strategic Policy
Hashirama's personal power initially allowed Konoha to act as the central stabilizing force of the Ninja World. After his death, Tobirama accepted that the village could no longer maintain order everywhere and concentrated on neighboring countries and a Konoha–Land of Fire-centered alliance. The examinations exposed the exceptional strength of the Land of Night's younger generation. Rikuo defeated the coordinated clan techniques of Tianmen, Yamanaka Tong, and Inuzuka Wu through overwhelming speed and Monster Strength. Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade recognized him as a major threat before facing his team themselves 315.
During that confrontation, Rikuo summoned Kurono, a gigantic spider-cat whose arrival devastated the arena and overwhelmed Jiraiya's giant toad. Yayoi ordered his Assault Department to erect a barrier around the arena, protecting the audience but accidentally trapping the chief examiners inside.
