Arc 1The Land of Night Rises

Yayoi strengthened the Land of Night by gaining allies, developing new techniques, and preparing for the spread of ninja villages. After attending Konoha’s inauguration, he returned home and led a campaign that destroyed the Kusanagi Clan and secured its sword.

Arc 2Alliances and New Heirs

Yayoi strengthened the Land of Night’s ties with the Uzumaki and Hoshigaki while confronting Madara’s power at the failed summit. After Kicho gave birth to their son, Yayoi continued developing his weapons and puppets and shared intelligence with Mu and Ōnoki.

  • Yayoi recovered a Chakra Crystal from Silent Forest, then buried the Chakra Tree’s remaining seed before leaving with Kicho.

Arc 3The Uchiha Join the Land of Night

Yayoi expanded the Land of Night’s power, created Yaya, and investigated threats around the Nine-Tails while the Uchiha branch searched for a new home. Hokuto’s clan relocated to Nightview City, and Konoha declined to intervene as Hashirama sent Tobirama to speak with Yayoi.

  • Madara announced that he was leaving Konoha, then departed alone when no Uchiha joined him, while Izayoi refused to return to the clan and went to meet the other exiles.
  • Yayoi’s team retrieved the radioactive Star from the Land of Bears, and the Uchiha earned payment for the mission and later recovered ancient research and records.
  • Yayoi awakened Yaya by transferring Seven-Tails’ chakra into her, then tested her strength alongside Irori and began developing Earth-infused chakra spheres.

Yayoi secured a Tsuchigumo summoning contract and helped Hisana and Nene with their work in the Land of Night. When Madara attacked Konoha with the Nine-Tails, Yayoi joined Tobirama and Mito to help subdue and seal the beast, then returned to an angry Irori and an affectionate Yaya.

  • Tobirama helped Shiranuma and the other Uchiha return to the Land of Fire, while Madara took control of the Nine-Tails with his Mangekyo Sharingan.
  • Yayoi and Hisana discussed sealing techniques, then Yayoi traveled with Kicho and Yaya to Spider Mountain, where he fought Tsuchigumo and earned a summoning contract.
