Aburame Shibi looked through the listings before his gaze settled on one mission.

Escort a merchant caravan to the Land of Grass Commerce Association. It was rated B-rank and offered a reward of 400,000 Ryo. Normally, a B-rank mission would not pay this much, but this one seemed somewhat special.

The caravan was quite large, and the mission notice specified that multiple teams could accept it, so the reward offered was correspondingly generous.

After thinking it over, Aburame Shibi decided to accept the mission.

At the Konoha Village Entrance, Hyuga Wu spotted a fairly large caravan parked there from afar.

As they drew closer, they suddenly heard the sounds of an argument.

The group frowned and quickened their pace, only to be met with a surprising sight.

A tall ninja in a green jumpsuit kept bowing to someone, offering all sorts of apologies and pleas. Beside him, another ninja in the same style of jumpsuit kept trying to pull him away.

"Father, why are you apologizing to someone like this? At worst, we just won't do this mission."

"Guy! You don't understand. Without the reward from this mission, we won't be able to survive much longer."

After scolding the ninja pulling at him, the tall ninja bowed to the leading Jonin once more, burying his head deeply against his chest.

"Please forgive us! I promise I won't make the same mistake again!"

Once Hyuga Wu saw the man's face clearly, he froze. "Senior Duy?"

"Wu, do you know that ninja?" Uchiha Rin looked at him in surprise.

A trace of concern appeared in Anko's eyes as she explained to Uchiha Rin, "Rin, his name is Might Duy. He's the father of Might Guy, our classmate from the same year."

"Oh." Uchiha Rin responded. She did not have much impression of Might Guy, only finding him somewhat familiar. In truth, she generally did not pay much attention to weaker students in class.

At that moment, the Jonin standing before Might Duy revealed an impatient expression and waved him off. "Go, go! Just my luck, recruiting you two into the team."

"Wasn't it just a knocked-over crate? We've already cleaned it up. Why are you still being so aggressive?" Might Guy finally could not hold back any longer. He clenched his fists and glared angrily at the Jonin.

"Guy!" Might Duy grabbed him and said anxiously, "It wasn't easy for them to let us join the team in the first place. I'm the one who's clumsy. Hurry up and apologize to Captain Ryosuke."

Guy looked aggrieved, on the verge of tears. "But we already cleaned it up."

After roughly understanding what had happened, a flicker of anger appeared in Anko's eyes. "That's too much."

Hyuga Wu frowned. After thinking for a moment, he quickly walked over.

"Hey! Have you people finished discussing this or not? Our caravan is about to depart. If this keeps up, it'll delay the schedule."

Hearing the merchant caravan leader's impatient voice, the team-leading Jonin, Tanai Ryosuke, revealed an apologetic smile and said somewhat awkwardly, "I'm terribly sorry! We'll settle it right away."

When his gaze shifted to Might Duy and Guy, it immediately turned into disgust and disdain.

"Did you hear that? The caravan is about to leave. You should hurry up and go. Don't delay the caravan's journey."

At that moment, a voice came from behind them.

"Wait!"

Tanai Ryosuke looked over, and his brows immediately furrowed. Byakugan? A Hyuga ninja? What was he doing here?

Hyuga Wu smiled slightly at the bewildered Might Guy and Might Duy.

"Guy, have you graduated already?"

"You're... Hyuga Wu?"

After recognizing Hyuga Wu, Guy scratched his head somewhat sheepishly.

"I just graduated. I haven't been assigned a team-leading Jonin yet, so I came out with my father first to do missions and help support the family."

"Why are you here too?"

"I'm here to complete a mission as well." Hyuga Wu smiled.

"Guy... who is he?"

"His name is Hyuga Wu. He was my classmate from the same year. Father, you should have heard of him—the Hyuga Clan genius who awakened a second Bloodline Limit." Guy introduced him to Duy with an excited expression.

Although the two had not interacted much as classmates, a genius from a powerful clan with a Dual Bloodline Limit was bound to leave a deep impression on everyone.

"So it's him!" Might Duy clenched his right fist and slapped it into his left palm, revealing an enlightened expression.

Hearing their conversation, Tanai Ryosuke narrowed his eyes and sized Hyuga Wu up. He had never heard of any Dual Bloodline Limit, but that watermelon-head kid had said they were classmates from the same year. That meant this guy was just a brat who had recently graduated.

"Hey, you just said you're here to complete a mission too?" Ryosuke stared at Hyuga Wu with narrowed eyes.

"This mission allows multiple teams. We accepted it too. Is there a problem?" Hyuga Wu stared right back at him.

"Also..." He turned to Might Duy and Guy with a smile. "Senior Duy, Guy, since this team doesn't want to keep you, why not join my team instead?"

"Wu, how can we possibly..." Duy and Guy were at a loss.

A chill flashed through Tanai Ryosuke's eyes. "Kid, you say you accepted this mission. Do you have proof? This is a B-rank mission. If I were your team-leading Jonin, I'd never let you come here and cause trouble. You..."

Before he could finish, a cold voice suddenly rang out.

"Are you teaching me how to do things?"

Tanai Ryosuke froze and looked toward the voice. A ninja wearing black sunglasses and wrapped in a loose robe was holding up a mission commission document toward him.

"This is the commission document for the mission we accepted. That counts as proof, doesn't it? Also, I agree to let those two join my team. Do you have a problem with that?"

Once Tanai Ryosuke saw the newcomer clearly, his body suddenly began trembling uncontrollably. Fear appeared in his eyes as he stammered.

"S-So it's Lord Shibi. You should've said so earlier. How would I dare have any objections to you?"

What a joke. Who would dare have objections to Aburame Shibi?

Aburame Shibi's reputation among Konoha's Jonin was far too great. He was an absolute monster! Ordinary Jonin were nothing but easy prey before him. Any ninja who fought him met an extremely miserable end, eaten by insects until not even scraps remained!

Tanai Ryosuke looked at Hyuga Wu as though he wanted to cry. You should've said your teacher was Aburame Shibi earlier! Did I need to offend such a monster?
