Staring toward the distant figure that had long since vanished, he muttered darkly, "Does he want to take Nirvana for himself?! No! Whoever tries to steal Nirvana from me, I will never forgive them!!!"
"Cobra!! Did you hear that?! We can't rely on Gerard anymore! If you heard me, hurry up and follow him!! Wherever he goes is where Nirvana is!!!"
After shouting his orders to Cobra in the distance, Brain turned toward the figure sleeping quietly against a corner of the cave. For a moment, indecision crossed his face. Deep in his eyes, he seemed profoundly wary of something!

"As you command, Father..." Midnight answered flatly, then turned and left. He never asked how many people he was to kill or how strong they were, as though none of that concerned him.
