Lin Qing left Heavenmist World with Yuan Shuo and Chen Xi, survived a Heavenly Tribulation, and confronted the demonic beast Ming in a world ruled by disguised beasts. After helping the enslaved humans and departing aboard Xiaodun, the trio reached the universe’s World Barrier, where the Heavenly Dao barred Lin Qing from entry and questioned his choice of destination.

• Lin Qing forged Xiaodun into his Life-Bound Treasure, said farewell to his companions in Heavenmist World, and entered the Chaotic Sea with Yuan Shuo and Chen Xi.
• The Heavenly Tribulation struck Lin Qing, whose body was destroyed by the ninth bolt before reforming, and he gained complete Thunder Will and Destruction Will.
• Lin Qing, Yuan Shuo, and Chen Xi arrived in a dust world, where Lin Qing killed Wang Teng and later fought Wang Xiao and the demonic beasts who ruled the world.
• At a valley where humans were enslaved, Yuan Shuo’s modified formation wounded Wang Xiao, and the mysterious demonic beast Ming appeared to challenge Lin Qing.
• Lin Qing and Ming fought to a standstill before Ming tore out Lin Qing’s heart, and Lin Qing activated Burning the Boats, destroyed Ming, and absorbed Ming’s remaining eyes.
• Lin Qing killed Wang Xiao and arranged with Old Sheep and Old Bear to provide resources for a human refuge, then the World Will opened the barrier so the trio could leave.
• During a year of travel aboard Xiaodun, Yuan Shuo reached the Seventh Tier, Chen Xi advanced to the Twelfth Tier, and Lin Qing completed his Eleventh-Tier breakthrough.
• At the World Barrier, the Heavenly Dao allowed Yuan Shuo and Chen Xi to enter but barred Lin Qing and questioned why he had chosen that world.

Lin Qing joined Azure Cosmos Academy while searching for Hangu Pass, then left with Feng Wu’s expedition to the Return-to-Truth Secret Realm. Inside, Lin Qing and Yue Shu faced dangerous creatures as Feng Wu revealed his predatory power, and Lin Qing’s destruction drew the attention of powerful beings.

• Lin Qing crossed into the universe with Chen Xi and Yuan Shuo, then attacked the Deep-Space Bladebearer Squad after its gloomy member targeted Chen Xi and its captain challenged him.
• Lin Qing killed the squad’s captain and learned that Azure Cosmos Academy could offer protection, so he, Chen Xi, and Yuan Shuo became Wen Li’s disciples.
• Lin Qing reached Azure Cosmos Academy, searched its star map for the Milky Way, and found the familiar label Hangu Pass.
• Feng Wu invited Lin Qing to join the expedition to a secret realm said to hold an opportunity to become immortal, and Lin Qing departed with Yue Shu after arranging for the academy to believe he had perished.
• Lin Qing traveled with Feng Wu’s group toward the Detached Pearl Nebula, where they avoided a Starry Sky Behemoth and reached the ruined city outside the Return-to-Truth Secret Realm.
• Lin Qing bought a new identity and supplies in the city, then entered the secret realm with Yue Shu and continued alone as Feng Wu’s group went another way.
• Feng Wu drained cultivators who had entered the jungle with him, while Lin Qing and Yue Shu fled through the forest from creatures that blocked Divine Sense.
• Lin Qing fought insect swarms with wind-and-fire saber strikes, then unleashed Destruction Will that reduced the insects and hundreds of thousands of kilometers of forest to dust, drawing the attention of powerful beings.

Lin Qing and Yue Shu reached the city, where Lin Qing killed Xu Bai and later uncovered the natives’ secret and the Heavenly Origin Divine Spring. As the Myriad Stars Immortal Court attacked the natives, Lin Qing completed the Five-Element Law, helped turn the battle, and defeated Feng Wu, while Yue Shu left to hide until the realm’s exit opened.

• Lin Qing and Yue Shu crossed the forest, fought Myriad Stars Immortal Court cultivators, and reached the vast city, where they learned about its Trial Tower and other paths to immortality.
• After Yue Shu was injured in the Trial Tower, Lin Qing killed a cruel arena fighter and defeated Xu Bai in a ten-win-streak match, then prepared to leave the city.
• Feng Wu ambushed Lin Qing and Yue Shu, but Lin Qing severed his arm and later led Yue Shu into a hidden chamber where they found the Heavenly Origin Divine Spring.
• Yue Shu used the spring to reach Five Qi Returning to the Origin, while Lin Qing learned that the city’s natives collected fallen cultivators’ bodies and energy to survive and eventually escape.
• The Myriad Stars Immortal Court entered the city and attacked its inhabitants, while Yue Shu joined the battle and Lin Qing completed the Five-Element Law, sealing everyone’s access to spiritual energy.
• Lin Qing refused Lin Hao’s offer to let the matter of Xu Bai go, and Feng Wu revealed himself, killed Lin Hao, and absorbed the essence of other Half-Immortals.
• Lin Qing and Feng Wu killed the remaining Half-Immortals, and Yue Shu departed after Lin Qing told her to hide until the exit opened.
• Lin Qing fought Feng Wu with his Dharma Aspect and Five-Element Law, then used Burning the Boats and his physical strength to destroy Feng Wu and kill him with a punch to his Primordial Spirit.

Lin Qing escaped pursuit, reached Sin Abyss, and built wealth through the Blood Arena before agreeing to help Hua Yao recover a Storage Ring in the Ruins. He found the source of the Astral Gale and returned with the lost Storage Rings, including a bracelet belonging to Ben Biao.

• Lin Qing escaped the Secret Realm, sold the brothers’ Flying Vessel, and traveled toward Anhuang City, where Space Pirates captured him and brought him to Sin Abyss.
• Lin Qing chose to earn money in the Blood Arena under the name Star Crossing, defeated Mysterious Zheng, and refused Ben Biao’s contract and threats.
• Lin Qing agreed to help Hua Yao retrieve a Storage Ring from the Ruins, then attended Tu Mi’s auction, where An Ke’er bought the Eternal King Halberd.
• Lin Qing won seven more Blood Arena matches and joined Hua Yao and Tu Mi on their Flying Vessel as the Ruins opened.
• Lin Qing entered the Ruins, found and looted a buried sect complex, then followed cultivators to the buried Astral Gale Canyon and advanced to Mid-Eleventh Tier by draining them.
• Lin Qing pushed through the cave’s Wind Law and restored a missing piece of a blue stele, stopping the astral gale.
• Lin Qing gathered Storage Rings and other loot, returned to the Flying Vessel, and Hua Yao found Ben Biao’s Communication Bracelet among the rings.
