"Darling, look."
Under the starry sky, Lorna spoke to Ke Chen.
They had come to the beach for fun tonight, and Lorna had completely let herself go.
At that moment, green light glowed from her hands as she aimed them at the ground beneath her feet.
Soon, her entire body slowly began to float.
"That's amazing."
Ke Chen's eyes lit up as he watched the confident Lorna.
Lorna's mutant abilities had indeed grown much stronger.
The more confident Lorna became, the more charming she was, making him like her even more.
Come to think of it, Lorna's abilities were exactly the same as Magneto's, only somewhat weaker.
But they were both forms of control over magnetic fields, which was why they looked so similar.
Magneto's and Lorna's abilities had both been born for grand-scale battles.
At that moment, Lorna looked like an elf beneath the night sky, surrounded by green light as she floated above the ground and gazed at Ke Chen with a smile.
Suddenly, she flew straight to Ke Chen and embraced him.
After the two had played until they were tired, they finally drove home.
Fortunately, the villa was not far away. They were on the Gold Coast now.
But as they passed a villa, Ke Chen happened to glance outside and suddenly noticed something.
"Hm?"
Ke Chen saw a woman in a red bodysuit run across a distant lawn. From the looks of it, she seemed like someone he had met before.
At the very least, someone familiar.
Who could be so familiar around here?
Ke Chen drove back home, dropped Lorna off, and said, "Lorna, I need to head out for a bit."
"Come back early."
Lorna was not overly clingy. She had an independent personality and was not the delicate little-woman type.
She was already living very happily now.
Besides, she vaguely felt that Ke Chen was not someone she could keep to herself.
Ke Chen turned the car around and drove toward the place from before, but the person was obviously already gone.
Still, he smiled faintly and immediately used his Telepathy.
His Telepathy was incredibly powerful.
This ability had varying levels of strength. Someone weaker might only be able to sense people within a few meters of themselves.
But Ke Chen was different. He felt that his ability was at least Gamma level.
He just did not know whether it was as strong as Professor X's.
Thus, Ke Chen quickly used his Telepathy to locate the red figure from earlier.
In Hell's Kitchen, two figures, one red and one black, chased each other across the rooftops.
"Bitch, you won't get away today!"
The black figure behind shouted loudly. Clearly, the person running ahead was a woman.
The man giving chase wore a bizarre outfit, but he was easy to identify. He had a headband on, and a conspicuous bullseye was marked between his brows.
That unmistakable trait identified him as Bullseye, the trusted subordinate of Kingpin, the underground crime lord!
Bullseye had once been a mercenary, but after meeting Kingpin, he had devoted himself entirely to Kingpin and earned Kingpin's deep trust.
It could be said that Kingpin had many hired agents, and the woman in the red bodysuit ahead had once been one of them. But Bullseye was the only one Kingpin truly trusted and took in as a subordinate.
The woman in the red bodysuit glanced back, her expression somewhat helpless.
She held two trident swords in her hands, and her long, smooth hair was black and straight.
She was none other than Elektra, who had disappeared for a long time.
She had very much wanted to find Ke Chen, but two months ago, she had been targeted by Bullseye, one of Kingpin's men.
To avoid bringing trouble to Ke Chen, she had chosen to disappear for the time being.
Bullseye wanted Elektra dead and had refused to give up for two straight months, leaving Elektra miserable.
Clearly, after several confrontations, she had confirmed that she was no match for Bullseye.
Her skills came from Stick. She had been trained as a ninja, proficient in martial arts from various schools and in weapon techniques, with every aspect of her physical ability reaching the peak of human limits.
But Bullseye was even stronger. Not only could he fight at close range, but his greatest strength was his innate throwing ability. His darts and other hidden weapons were extraordinarily deadly, allowing him to torment Elektra without ever approaching her.
What was more, every time she fought Bullseye, Elektra felt herself falling further and further behind.
Bullseye had actually studied her movements. By now, he could even predict her next move.
This left Elektra terrified.
Whoosh!
Just as Elektra leaped into the air, Bullseye directly threw a dart.
Elektra had no leverage in midair and could only forcefully twist her body. The dart missed her vital points, but it still cut her.
Elektra landed on the rooftop across from him in a cold sweat, ignoring the wound at her waist.
If her vital points had been hit while she was in the air, she would have certainly died falling from the rooftop!
"You've got nowhere left to run, do you?"
Bullseye jumped over after her and spoke in a sinister voice.
Elektra's waist was already injured, and every movement felt somewhat sluggish. The wound had clearly affected her.
So, she no longer planned to run.
Flicking back her long hair, Elektra tightly gripped her trident swords with both hands, ready to fight Bullseye to the death.
Seeing this, Bullseye was in no hurry to attack. Instead, he began to use psychological warfare.
"You've fallen for an Eastern man, haven't you?"
Bullseye said with a wicked grin.
"His name was something like Ke Chen?"
Elektra's expression changed drastically as she asked, "What do you want?"
"Nothing. I just want him to admire your charms, then cut his throat."
Bullseye's vicious laughter and those words instantly shattered Elektra's composure.
Elektra seemed to go mad as she launched a frenzied assault on Bullseye.
But Bullseye easily dodged every attack. He kept his distance, leaving Elektra unable to touch him at all.
Just then, a voice suddenly sounded behind Bullseye.
"I'll admire Elektra's charms myself. You won't get the chance."
Ke Chen's faint voice made Bullseye feel as though it had risen from Hell itself.
"Who?"
Bullseye turned around, and the instant he saw Ke Chen, an unbearable pain exploded in his mind.
He recognized who Ke Chen was, but he had no time to wonder why Ke Chen was here.
In an instant, Ke Chen's Telepathy had controlled Bullseye, an ordinary man without superpowers.
Ke Chen wore a smile. Sure enough, before superpowers, no matter how well-trained a human was, he was still an ant.
So it was fucking absurd that Captain America could go toe-to-toe with Thanos!
Those capable of fighting Thanos were definitely not ordinary superheroes like Iron Man or Captain America.
At the very least, it took people like Captain Marvel, Thor, or Scarlet Witch Wanda to have the ability to fight Thanos.
Otherwise, what kind of cosmic overlord would Thanos be on Earth?
"Ke Chen?"
Elektra stopped moving and was instantly delighted when she saw Ke Chen.
She had been wondering who would say something like that, but once she saw it was Ke Chen, everything was fine.
