Heaven's Will had gone from scorning humans at the very beginning, to taking them seriously, to now wanting nothing more than to wipe them out. Humans had brought about this entire series of changes.
But however much humans defied heaven, they were still merely living beings at their core. There should have been no way for them to threaten Heaven's Will, the first living being born when heaven and earth first came into existence.
Yet humans had nearly destroyed him.
"Could you explain in more detail?"
Su Ming frowned. If there were beings even more terrifying than Heaven's Will, had he taken the wrong path?
"Don't worry."
The child waved a hand and pointed at his own body.
"I encountered humans from Beyond the World. They came to help these humans who had nearly been wiped out. They were the ones who scattered the embers of humanity across this land."
The child continued:
"I fought those humans for so many years and nearly perished at one point, but I still won."
"The black hole hanging in Heaven Beyond Heaven is something those humans from Beyond the World left behind. Even this body of mine was seized from a human from Beyond the World."
Su Ming understood. No wonder he had always felt that being did not belong to this world. It truly hadn't; Heaven's Will had merely taken over his body.
I even thought the one behind me was that being from Beyond the World. So it was Heaven's Will from the very beginning.
This left Su Ming feeling somewhat relieved. No matter what, this was better than working for those beings from Beyond the World.
He had intended to follow heaven from the start. Now things had worked out perfectly: he was working for heaven, so surviving afterward should
