Tobirama Senju’s revival ceremony reunited Sasori, Nagato, and others with their loved ones while bringing old clan conflicts and hidden truths to light. As the ceremony ended, Kushina learned Minato might still be revived and hurried to confront the masked man responsible for the Nine-Tails Rebellion.

In Konoha Prison, Madara revealed that he had manipulated Obito into pursuing the Eye of the Moon Plan, and Obito refused to accept that Infinite Tsukuyomi was a lie until Kakashi, Kushina, and Rin confronted him. Obito repented, used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to retrieve Minato’s soul, and died after confessing his love to Rin; Madara then gave him a final illusion in which he entrusted Obito with his legacy and the Rinnegan.

• Madara told Obito that he had arranged Rin’s death and chosen Obito to carry out the Eye of the Moon Plan, then revealed that Black Zetsu and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had made the plan a deception.
• Kushina attacked Obito for killing Minato and her, then recognized him when she uncovered his face, while Kakashi explained Obito’s history to Rin.
• Rin comforted Obito and urged him to apologize, prompting him to kneel before Kushina and confess his remorse for his crimes.

The Mist ninja broke through the capital’s weak defenses and stormed the daimyo’s residence as the daimyo’s ministers fled with him through a hidden passage.

• Kisame Hoshigaki ordered the Mist ninja to press their attack but spare samurai who surrendered, and their forces slaughtered the samurai army.
• The Mist ninja advanced to the capital while Konoha shinobi took over administration, purged criminal groups, and reassured civilians.
• The daimyo learned that his army had been routed and General Morita killed, then fainted when he heard General Mifune’s reinforcements were still hours away.
• A minister ordered the residence guards to delay the Mist ninja, then escaped with the unconscious daimyo through a hidden passage.
• Kisame Hoshigaki led the Mist ninja through the capital gates, defeated the remaining resistance, and charged into the daimyo’s residence.

Kisame Hoshigaki led the purge of the Land of Hot Water’s daimyo and nobles, while Mifune set out with samurai to stop the invasion. Madara Uchiha confronted Mifune’s army alone as it approached the Land of Sound border.

• Kisame ordered Ao to use his Byakugan, and Ao discovered a hidden tunnel containing the Land of Hot Water’s daimyo and nobles.
• Kisame had a minister executed after he threatened him, then rejected the nobles’ offers of money and favors and ordered them killed.
• The Land of Hot Water’s daimyo was killed in his sleep, and the Mist ninja advanced toward the next country as Konoha ninja took control of the territory.

• Mifune recognized Madara as a dangerous opponent and asked to face him in a one-on-one duel.
• Madara accepted, took a samurai’s sword, and clashed with Mifune’s Iaijutsu Slash, breaking his own weapon while acknowledging Mifune’s speed.
• Madara summoned another sword and fought Mifune, adapting to his techniques until he struck Mifune in the chest and defeated him.
• Mifune asked Madara to spare the samurai after his death, and Madara agreed.

As Konoha’s campaign to unify the shinobi world advanced, Tobirama Senju welcomed Konan and Amegakure into Konoha while managing the growing demands of the conquest. Meanwhile, the remaining daimyos gathered to seek help from Hiruko, the so-called Immortal Shinobi.

Hiruko persuaded the daimyo to help him obtain an Uchiha's Sharingan so he could complete his Chimera Technique and become an immortal ninja. Meanwhile, Madara Uchiha destroyed Shennong's Sky Ninja Village stronghold and captured him, leaving the village's fate in ruins.

• Hiruko told the daimyo that he needed Konoha's Sharingan to complete his Chimera Technique, and they agreed to help in exchange for his assistance.
• Hiruko planned to use the daimyo's desperation to abduct a resurrected Uchiha, then wait for the Golden Ring Solar Eclipse to fuse the Sharingan.

Tobirama Senju extracted Kumogakure’s Chakra Cannon plans from A’s soul and learned that a Tailed Beast could power a planet-destroying weapon. At Hozuki Castle, Hashirama Senju crushed Gū, allowing Kisame Hoshigaki’s forces to seize the castle and discover its leaders were dead.

• Tobirama Senju demanded Kumogakure’s Chakra Cannon method from A, then used the Rinnegan to extract information from his soul.
• Tobirama Senju learned that Kumogakure had perfected the weapon’s theory and that a Tailed Beast could supply enough chakra to destroy a planet.
