Tobirama defeated Nagato and Madara, then exposed the truth behind the Eye of the Moon Plan and brought Madara and several former enemies into Konoha. As Obito prepared to capture the Two-Tails and Eight-Tails, White Zetsu attacked Kumogakure.

• Hashirama held off Orochimaru’s reanimated fighters while Tobirama and Itachi confronted Orochimaru, and Tobirama defeated Nagato’s Six Paths with his water techniques.
• Tobirama and Hashirama cornered Orochimaru, but Madara emerged from Orochimaru’s coffin and challenged Tobirama after Hashirama’s soul departed.
• Tobirama defeated Madara in battle and revealed that Black Zetsu had manipulated him, and Madara agreed to abandon the Eye of the Moon Plan and return to Konoha.
• Tobirama and Madara made Orochimaru loyal to Tobirama, recruited Deidara, Sasori, Kisame, and Kakuzu, and Madara agreed to mentor Sasuke.
• Obito received Nagato’s Rinnegan from Black Zetsu and resolved to continue the Eye of the Moon Plan, while Tobirama prepared to confront him with Kakashi’s help.
• Konan brought Nagato’s body to Konoha, learned that Obito had manipulated her and Nagato, and agreed to join Konoha with Amegakure.
• Obito and Black Zetsu sent White Zetsu to attack Kumogakure as a distraction, and Obito set out to capture the Two-Tails and Eight-Tails.

Obito’s campaign against the tailed beasts ended with his defeat, while Tobirama used his power to destroy rival villages and bring the ninja world to war. Madara then revived thousands killed in the Nine-Tails Rebellion and the Uchiha massacre, reuniting families and forcing Itachi to face his clan.

• Obito captured Killer B and Yugito, but Kakashi and Tobirama defeated him and took him prisoner while Madara trapped Black Zetsu.
• Tobirama demanded Kumogakure submit to Konoha, killed A and Darui, and destroyed the village with a meteorite.
• Naruto learned that Minato and Kushina were his parents, while Tobirama ordered Hidan to revive Madara and negotiated with the three daimyo before killing them and declaring war.
• Tobirama and Madara announced that Madara would resurrect those killed in the Nine-Tails Rebellion, and families registered 3,560 names, including the Uchiha clan.
• Madara used the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to revive thousands, and Hidan restored Madara after the ritual drained his life force.
• Naruto reunited with Kushina, Kakashi reconciled with Sakumo, and Hashirama reunited with Tsunade, Nawaki, Tobirama, and Madara.
• Madara revived the 998 Uchiha killed in the massacre, and Itachi apologized to them until Shisui stopped him from striking his head against the ground again.
