Arc 13Mirrors and Blood Magic
Manus investigated a disturbance in history, helped Helena and Rowena Ravenclaw prepare their shared grave, and reconciled with Dumbledore over the Mirror of Erised. After deepening his Blood Magic research and helping Hagrid care for Fang, Manus prepared to return Bob to the wild.
- Manus and Lily uncovered contradictory records suggesting Maximilian Crowdy had been inserted into history, and Manus decided to investigate the time disturbance while advising Lily to act as if it had never happened.
- Manus brought Helena to the founders’ tomb, confirmed her remains, and placed her bones in Rowena Ravenclaw’s coffin before sealing the grave and promising to return the Diadem after Voldemort was dealt with.
- Manus found reusable memories among Rowena’s crystal bottles and sealed them, then told Dumbledore he had dismantled the Mirror of Erised before agreeing to make a replacement.
- Dumbledore confessed his past with Grindelwald and his fears about Tom Riddle, and Manus accepted his apology and promised to keep his confidence.
- Manus explored the limits of Blood Magic, strengthened Blood Burning Technique to its limit, and found that blood carried vitality better than souls.
- Manus delivered a replica of the Mirror of Erised to the abandoned classroom, then advised Pandora and Grogan about setting goals and tending to their growth.
- Manus helped Hagrid calm Fang and learned the puppy feared his own weakness, while Hagrid agreed that Fang could stay home rather than enter the Forbidden Forest.
- After Huginn found a suitable population of Common Welsh Greens in Wales, Manus set out with Hagrid to return the adolescent Bob to the wild, using Huginn and Muninn as safeguards for the Portkey journey.
