Background & History

Elufiel awakens beneath a tree in the snowbound Green Forest after falling asleep in Sunfury Spire, Silvermoon City. Attacked by two gray wolves, she protects herself with Power Word: Shield, kills one with a holy spell, and flees the unfamiliar forest after realizing that its magical energy is unusually abundant and dangerous to her addiction 1.

Her search for civilization brings her to an unnamed young arcanist—later revealed as Odovish Snow—whose mana overwhelms her restraint. In a state of addiction-induced delirium, she binds him with Void Tendrils, breaks his barrier with Holy Radiance, and forcibly drains his mana through a kiss. After escaping, she regains clarity, is horrified by her actions, and begins to suspect that she may no longer be in Azeroth 3.

At Fairy Tale Town, Odovish confirms that she is on the Kanado Continent rather than Azeroth.
