The Shadow Leopard let out a miserable scream. Its entire body stiffened from the shock, and it was blasted out of the shadows before crashing heavily to the ground.

It was a completely black leopard, over two meters tall and more than four meters long. Its fur was like obsidian, making it nearly invisible in the darkness. Its eyes were pure gold, like two little lanterns gleaming in the dark. Most unusual of all, the edges of its body were faintly distorted, as though it had merged with the surrounding shadows and could vanish at any moment.
"That was close..." Killua turned around, white arcs still dancing across his body. His shirt had been torn open across the back, but his skin was uninjured. "It almost got me."
The Shadow Leopard climbed to its feet and shook its head. Its golden eyes remained fixed on Killua as it let out a low growl.

"It's afraid of electricity!" Gon shouted excitedly. "Killua, your lightning can force it to reveal itself!"
"Not just that." The white arcs around Killua grew denser, spreading from his body into the surroundings and illuminating a radius of five or six meters. "My lightning can light up the area, so it can't blend into the shadows."
