The metal door opened completely.
An elderly butler stood behind it, bent deeply at the waist, his hands folded over his abdomen.
"Young Master Illumi, Mr. Bai Zhu."
Illumi stepped inside.
Bai Zhu followed behind, but after walking a dozen meters or so, his pace slowed.
He had thought he was entering a room.
Instead, behind the door was a gigantic sunroom.
The curved canopy was pieced together from hundreds of glass panels, with a complete mechanical structure at the top. Once activated, the entire canopy could retract to either side.
The ground was covered in lawn, with an artificial stream beside it. The water flowed out from beneath a rockery, around a sandpit, and into a patch of shrubbery.
Farther in were flowerbeds, woods, and several wooden bridges.
Different areas grew different plants. Some places were so humid that droplets clung to the leaves; others were so dry that even the soil had turned pale.
Bai Zhu stood at the entrance and stared upward for quite a while.
"When your family raises children, do you just move an entire park indoors?"
"This is the activity area."
Illumi's tone was calm.
"Alluka needs enough space."
"I can see that."
Bai Zhu pointed at the stream in the distance.
"Are you going to dig him a lake in a couple of days and raise a few crocodiles too?"
Illumi considered it seriously.
"If necessary, we can."
