Milluki's bedroom door was kicked open by Killua, the door slamming into the wall with a dull thud.
"None of us are sleeping tonight."
Before Bai Zhu could mock his edgy theatrics, Alluka poked her head out from behind Killua, hugging a pillow nearly as big as her head.
"Boss, take this!"
The moment she spoke, the pillow flew from her hands and smacked Bai Zhu squarely in the face.
It was soft and powerless, but deeply insulting.
Bai Zhu pulled the pillow off his face. Before he could say anything, another pillow came flying after it, this one thrown by Killua.
He dodged the second one with a sidestep. For the third, he gave them no chance, catching the flying pillow and taking two steps forward before slapping it over Killua's head.
"Argh!"
Killua was completely covered, flailing beneath the pillow.
Alluka laughed so hard she bent over, bracing herself against the doorframe and unable to straighten up for a long while.
Milluki, the room's owner, was frantically moving several collectible figures scattered across the carpet back onto the cabinet, muttering under his breath.
"My limited-edition Greym 7! Don't step on my carpet, it was imported from East Gorteau!"
Holding Killua's head down, Bai Zhu felt the boy's indignant struggles beneath him and finally understood a little of the joy of being a gang boss.
Killua clearly hadn't wanted to bring Alluka to a place like this, yet he kept her half a step behind him the entire time, like a wary feline—protecting her, but also keeping watch over her.
After fooling around for a while, Milluki finally put away all his precious treasures. Leaning against the desk, he panted as he explained.
"Father gave Alluka permission to be out for two hours, so she could come."
