Ging stopped in his tracks, his perpetually inquisitive eyes fixed squarely on Bai Zhu.
His stare gave Bai Zhu the creeps, but Bai Zhu kept the same lazy look on his face.
"What's so strange about that?" He shrugged, his tone as casual as if he were discussing the weather. "You people wouldn't go to all this trouble just to make a console game you plug a cartridge into, would you? That'd be beneath you."

He suddenly felt as though this guy had gotten smarter.
"I'm lazy, not stupid," Bai Zhu added.
Inside, he was ranting furiously. Like hell I'd tell you I've seen the story! If I didn't know how your game worked, no way would I have followed you to this godforsaken place!
Besides, he was now almost certain that the card Ging wanted him to make was the absurdly powerful "Archangel's Breath" from the original story.
What he had never expected was that his own "Angel's Glance" would be the basis for this so-called "Archangel."
"Fine, you're pretty sharp." Ging waved
