Ye Chen landed on the ground and stared at Sakazuki grimly. His hands were coated in Armament Haki as he vanished once more.

Sakazuki had underestimated him at first, but now he grew serious. Observation Haki spread out at once. Sensing the disturbance of air on his left, he drove his right fist forward as magma boiled around it.

With a dull collision, a black fist slammed into a massive magma fist. Magma splashed everywhere. Ye Chen flipped backward several times before landing on the ground, staring expressionlessly at his smoking fist.

Meanwhile, Sakazuki took two steps back.

The ground tore apart as two three-meter-tall slashes crossed through the air toward Sakazuki, carrying a terrifying momentum.

With a cold snort, Akainu clenched his fist. As magma erupted, the slashes vanished without a trace, though Sakazuki's attack was also spent.

At that moment, Ye Chen appeared on Sakazuki's right. Veins bulged across his right arm as a layer of Armament Haki covered it, and he viciously drove his fist toward Sakazuki's waist.

"I've been waiting for you."

A triumphant expression appeared on Sakazuki's face as his left fist suddenly shot toward Ye Chen. He had clearly been waiting for Ye Chen to close in.

The impact shook the air. A storm of dust swept outward as the magma-covered ground exploded, forming a crater five meters across.

Sakazuki's right leg shot forward, kicking viciously at Ye Chen. If that kick landed solidly, Ye Chen might have been seriously injured on the spot.

Standing outside, half of Sakazuki's body had turned into magma, continuously eroding the ground. The heat radiating around him kept scorching everything.

"Brother Ye Chen..."

Outside, Hina's eyes reddened, tears welling up and nearly spilling over.

"Don't worry. That guy hasn't even used his real abilities yet." Having sparred with Ye Chen for years, Vergo knew Ye Chen's strength well. He was not worried in the slightest.
