Like a horse galloping across level ground, Zhuangzhuang kept running without pause, pulling farther and farther away from Jabra and Fukuro. In the end, all they could see was the blurry rear end of the horse flying away.
"Jabra, this can't go on."
Clutching the thick fur around Jabra's neck, Fukuro's face darkened.
"Damn it, embarrassing or not, have them seal off the area."
With his tongue hanging out, Jabra could barely catch his breath. He was still in his Dire Wolf form, and as an Ancient Zoan, his stamina was terrifying. Yet now, he was nearly exhausted from chasing an ordinary white horse.
"Got it."
Fukuro nodded and dialed the Den Den Mushi.
As the Den Den Mushi connected, squads of soldiers began converging from every direction, both in the sky and on the ground far away.
"This is bad."
Lying on Zhuangzhuang's back, Doc Q's pale face changed. Through his Observation Haki, he sensed that they had been surrounded.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Laser Rays shot through the air one after another, blasting holes into the ground as though it were made of paper and leaving behind scorching heat.
There were more and more of them. The entire sky was crimson, filled with red Laser dots.
His horse face filled with terror, Zhuangzhuang stuck out his tongue and ran desperately while Doc Q wielded the double-bladed scythe in his hand like a windmill, blocking the Laser Rays.
Covered in wounds, Doc Q's shoulder was pierced amid a spray of blood, and he nearly fell off the horse.
These Laser Rays were more terrifying than he had imagined. Even Armament Haki could not block their penetrating power.
"Zhuangzhuang."
The endless rays made Doc Q feel the threat of death.
"Damn it, try running again."
Panting heavily, Jabra and Fukuro caught up,
