More than two months had passed since the Century War ended. After leaving Marineford, Jozu and Vista had led the remaining members to station themselves on this island.

This war had been a nightmare for the Whitebeard Pirates. Their old man and Ace had died one after another, not to mention the other commanders and crew members.

A war they had not even been involved in had destroyed the entire Whitebeard Pirates. Now they were surrounded by enemies. Not only were the Four Emperors openly seizing their territories, but even scattered pirate crews had begun encroaching on them.

Humiliation. Fury. Faced with the sharks drawn by the scent of blood, Jozu and the others could only retreat again and again, focusing on defense. There were many things they wanted to do but lacked the strength to accomplish.
