North of Baltigo, chaos still raged. The ice sheet lay shattered, and two battered figures faced each other, panting hard, murder in their eyes.
The strain on Funilo's mind had been immense. He wiped blood from his mouth, his face pale.
Across from him, Morley's face was covered in blood. Several holes had opened in his massive body, crimson slowly seeping from them.

Funilo gasped for breath as ripples spread through the air around him.

They darted through the flying shards and collided head-on.
The earth shook. Cracks spread everywhere, and each took a punch that sent him flying.
Morley's huge body slammed into the ground. Before he could catch his breath, a figure appeared in front of him.
There had been no warning. Even his Observation Haki had detected nothing.
"Excision Door!"
A fluorescent glow flashed. Morley's head spun through the air, and his headless body fell to the ground.
Rob Lucci stood in midair, holding Morley's head. His cold gaze settled on Funilo as he climbed out of a shattered crater.
"Death God Rob Lucci."
Funilo stared at the head in Rob Lucci's hand, his expression grim and wary.
