"Devil Fruit?"
Hearing Ye Chen's words, Bege puffed on his cigar and said, "Where are we supposed to find a Devil Fruit user capable of killing Kaido now?"
"No need to look. We already have one."
Turning around, Ye Chen looked at Moria, and everyone else followed his gaze.
"Me?"
Pointing at himself, Moria was somewhat stunned. But if he could kill Kaido, he would spare no effort, because the hatred between them was irreconcilable.
"Moria?"
Everyone was a little confused. They could not see how Moria could kill Kaido.
"Cut off Kaido's shadow and throw his body under the sun."
Their eyes widened. Everyone knew Moria's ability. Once a living being was deprived of its shadow, it could not be exposed to sunlight, or it would turn to ashes.
"How didn't I think of that?"
Caesar suddenly understood and covered his forehead in anguish.
"The more difficult something seems, the simpler the solution often is. You handle it!"
After saying that, Ye Chen left.
Once Ye Chen was gone, Caesar let out a wail. If Kaido turned to ashes, what would he have left to study?
"Moria, hurry up and go in to try it."
Tesoro urged him on.
Then the group entered the laboratory. Various lights had been turned up to their brightest, and Kaido's enormous shadow floated across the wall.
Holding a huge pair of scissors in his right hand, Moria grabbed Kaido's shadow with his left, then severed it at the root with one snip.
"Kaido, let's see if you can survive this."
Gripping the struggling shadow, Moria's face was full of hatred. He had wanted revenge for more than a day or two. If the gap between them had not been so vast, he would have avenged his companions, whom Kaido had killed years ago.
