The Dragon Who Lost His Mind

"Boss, he's dead."

One minute, then two minutes passed. Rob Lucci noticed something was wrong with Ye Chen. Garp was already dead, yet Ye Chen was still stabbing him. His expression was calm, but unnaturally so.

His face covered in blood, Ye Chen came back to his senses and let out a heavy breath, as if expelling all the pent-up oppression and pressure.

Looking at Garp's mangled upper body, with only bloody strands of flesh hanging from his ribs, Ye Chen sent a stream of energy into Garp's corpse before casually tossing it onto the ground.

"Grandpa!"

His eyes vicious, bloody tears spilling from them, Luffy howled in heartbreaking agony. His voice had already become hoarse.

Just then, Vergo appeared out of thin air, blood hanging from the corner of his mouth and his breathing unsteady.

"So battered?"

Enel looked at Vergo with raised brows.

Ignoring him, Vergo slapped his left hand against his chest. A pale red, bear-paw-shaped mist of blood hundreds of meters wide emerged from behind him, then compressed and vanished somewhere into Vergo's body.

Color returned to his face as Vergo sighed. "That guy got away. Those old bastards really aren't to be underestimated."

After speaking, Vergo looked at Garp's corpse on the ground. His expression turned grave, and he said nothing.

Seeing that Vergo was fine, Ye Chen spoke as well.

"Take these two away. Return to the Kingdom."

"Luffy." Her face filled with terror, Nami stared at Luffy as tears streamed down her face.

"Nami, stop right there!"

"Let Nami and Usopp go!"

"Brook!"

No one paid any attention to Luffy's wails. As a mirror rose up, Kaku and the others carried Usopp, Nami, and Brook into it one after another, disappearing from sight.

"Nami! Brook! Usopp!"

Luffy struggled as he shouted in despair.
