Op-Op Fruit and the Ancient Weapons

Time flew. A month had passed since the failed resurrection.

During that month, the kingdom had thrown all its resources into searching for the Life-Life Fruit, but found nothing. After all, the fruit was only a legend. No one even knew whether it existed.

They had found no trace of the Life-Life Fruit, but news had surfaced of the long-lost Op-Op Fruit.

"The Op-Op Fruit is in the Marines' hands?"

Ye Chen sat on his throne. Some members of his court were present, others absent, while Kaku reported what he had uncovered.

"The Marines? That could be troublesome." Kalifa frowned in thought.

"They're just the Marines. We'll take it from them."

Enel yawned, utterly unconcerned.

"The Marines aren't the problem. The World Government behind them is!"

Enel was right about one thing: the kingdom no longer needed to fear the Marines. It was the World Government they had to watch out for.

"But we have to get the Op-Op Fruit."

"Of course."

"We haven't made a move in a year. The seas have probably forgotten me by now." Enel grew excited. He meant to use the Marines' destruction as a stepping stone and make the world tremble again.

"Destroying the Marines won't be that easy. The Revolutionary Army and the Four Emperors might strike us from behind."

Reiju shook her head. War was no game; there were many factors to consider.

"The Marines aren't in a good position themselves."

"Because the boss set the precedent of placing bounties on them?"

"Exactly. Since the Summit War, other factions have followed our kingdom's lead and posted bounties in the Underworld for Marine heads. Plenty of them would kick the Marines while they're down if we attacked. Our main concern should be strikes from the Revolutionary Army and the other Four Emperors."
