Breaking Out of the Prison

Go, go, go!

By now, even Crow King was starting to run out of strength, yet he did not dare relax in the slightest. His stomping remained brutal, with no reduction in speed.

The closer they got to the end, the more crucial it became!

Ye Qiong watched Magellan below. By now, Magellan had been driven nearly mad, poison liquid gushing forth wildly.

In the end, he ignored the Black Flames blocking the wall and charged straight through at full speed.

Sizzle, sizzle!

Large amounts of poison liquid evaporated in the intense heat, yet more continuously surged from Magellan's body. The Black Flames could not harm his inner body beneath the poison coating. This reckless move truly increased his speed, and the distance between him and Ye Qiong's group began steadily shrinking again.

"Damn prisoners!"

Magellan roared madly, poison liquid erupting beneath him as he glided and surged upward like some terrifying monster.

"R!"

Ye Qiong spread out a circular space and created a downward repulsive force. Magellan's speed was abruptly forced down a level, and the distance between them could only be worn away bit by bit with time.

Thud!

Crow King stomped and shattered another Space Cube. A patch of light appeared overhead—they had completely rushed out of the passage connecting the prison floors!

They had finally reached the first level of hell! The very top level of Impel Down!

"Rush through the gates!" Ye Qiong urgently said. As long as they could get out of Impel Down, everything would be fine.

"But..."

Crow King instinctively charged toward the gates, but his mouth fell slightly open as he hesitated.

Ye Qiong turned around, only to discover that Impel Down's gates were tightly shut!

The grand and imposing steel gates stood before them like an ancient ferocious beast, magnificent and overwhelming. Grim iron studs lined their surface, while the smooth metal exterior gleamed brightly!

Compared to them, the prison gates between the hellish floors were utterly insignificant, not even in the same league!

"It's over!"

Crow King was filled with panic. Those enormous gates were simply not something human strength could shake!

"Is this as far as we go?!" Night Emperor frowned. If there was no other choice, he could only exhaust all his essence, energy, and spirit in an attempt to break through the gates.

"You won't escape!" Magellan's roar echoed from within the passage behind them. He was already very close to the first level.

"There's no time!" Crow King panicked.

"Charge at the gates! Now!" Ye Qiong suddenly slapped Crow King.

"But the gates..."

"Listen to me. Just charge!"

Ye Qiong stared at the massive gates before him as golden light gradually lit up in his eyes.

"Yes!" Crow King gritted his teeth and charged his entire body toward the gates.

"Struggles of trapped beasts!"

Magellan's burly body, coated in purple poison liquid, rushed out from the passage behind them. His icy gaze shot toward the group.

"Don't stop! Smash through!" Ye Qiong stared straight at the gates and spoke firmly.

"Then death it is!"

Watching the imposing gates draw closer and closer, Crow King simply shut his eyes and charged fiercely forward with the three of them!

"R!"

A circular space enveloped his right hand, steadily becoming more solid.

Ye Qiong clenched his fist, his spatial power gathering frantically. A milky white radiance curled around his hand, brilliant beyond compare, before swiftly condensing into a tough ink-black sheen.

His left fist contained an immense amount of spatial power! If Armament Haki had not covered his skin, this forbidden ability would have injured him before harming anyone else.

The gates drew ever closer. Ten meters, five meters, three meters...

The next instant, Crow King was about to slam headfirst into the gates!

Ye Qiong kicked off, leaping forward first. His arm drew strength like a bow, muscles bulging one after another as his power was about to erupt completely.

Then golden light burst from his eyes, and his right fist viciously slammed toward the gates before him!

Boom!!!

The ink-black fist instantly shattered space. Cracks split through it inch by inch, and countless spatial currents shot out like black lightning, while terrifying air currents crushed outward in all directions!

Impel Down's gates were like a mirror, instantly shattered as a circular opening exploded through them.

Ye Qiong's body was thrown backward by the recoil, and White Snow caught him.

That blow had nearly drained all his strength, yet he still struggled to raise Space: Barrier, blocking the instantly violent spatial currents and protecting the three of them.

Crow King plunged headfirst through the circular breach in the gates.

"He actually shattered Impel Down's gates?! Is this some kind of joke?!"

Seeing this scene, Magellan behind them turned pale with shock.

More importantly, were the prisoners really about to escape?

They had even been blasted out by force!

Since when had Impel Down, known throughout the world as an "impregnable fortress," become so weak?

If he truly let the prisoners escape, how could he ever face the World Government?!

"Stay right here!"

Magellan's face twisted savagely. He stomped madly against the ground, shattering both the poison liquid and the floor. Like a cannonball, he shot at full speed through the breach in the gates.

"We're out!"

Ye Qiong and the others were ecstatic. Beyond the gates lay truly vast and free land!

Though dark gray mist filled the surroundings of Impel Down, blanketing everything in darkness and making sunlight difficult to reach.

The fresh air outside was completely different from the dark, sealed prison within Impel Down!

They had truly made it out!

Time had flown by like water, and it felt as though they had entered another world. All of them felt a dreamlike sense of unreality.

Ye Qiong had been trapped in the sunless Underwater Prison for more than five years and had already felt lonely and oppressed. White Snow and Crow King had endured far more than five years, while Night Emperor had been trapped in Eternal Hell for a full forty years.

"We're out!"

Crow King opened his eyes. The disbelief and wild joy nearly made him stop in place.

"We haven't escaped danger yet!"

Ye Qiong smacked his forehead and constructed Space Cubes stretching beyond the mist.

The waters around Impel Down were part of the Calm Belt. Anyone traveling in or out needed to open the gates that generated ocean currents.

Furthermore, the waters were filled with gigantic Sea Kings. Escaping by ship was harder than climbing to the heavens!

But for Ye Qiong, who possessed spatial powers, that was no problem at all.

If there was no sea route, they could take the air route!

The sky, where ordinary people could not set foot, was the best possible terrain for him.

"Crow King, leave quickly!" Ye Qiong urged.

Crow King nodded, stepping on the Space Cubes in midair as he fled outward with the three of them.

"Don't even think about escaping!!"

Poison liquid burst from the breach in the gates as Magellan rushed out of Impel Down. Seeing Crow King already airborne, he rapidly used Geppo, kicking off the air as he gave chase.

"Too late!"

Ye Qiong sneered and spread out a circular space, using outward repulsive force to hinder Magellan's pursuit.

"This again!"

Magellan ground his teeth in fury. Relying on Geppo alone, once he was met with that resistance, he could not catch up for the moment. He could only watch helplessly as Crow King carried Ye Qiong's group farther and farther away, about to escape Impel Down and enter the surrounding waters.

Once they escaped into the boundless sea, how could he track them down?

"Crow King, hold on a little longer!" Ye Qiong held his breath. The sea lay just ahead.

Whether their prison break would succeed depended only on this final short distance!

One hundred meters! Fifty meters! Twenty meters! Ten meters...

Ye Qiong looked back at Magellan. There was still some distance between them—he could not catch up at all!

"We're about to make it..." Joy had not even fully formed on Ye Qiong's face.

The next instant, a sudden change erupted—a golden beam tore through the sky, ripping apart the mist in an instant as it shot toward them at extreme speed!

"It's him!"

Ye Qiong's pupils abruptly contracted.
