Crocodile also watched Rogge with a grin. They had seen how strong Taishan was, yet Rogge had bet on someone else—and staked ten billion Beli on him.

Crocodile could not put up that kind of money himself, but he could enjoy watching Rogge lose. The odds of that looked awfully good.

"Very strong," Rogge said.

"Hahaha! I can't wait to see someone's face when he loses. Still feeling confident, Rogge? The fight over there hasn't even finished. Who knows if your pick will make it through? If he doesn't reach the final four, your money's gone before the real fight even starts," Doflamingo said with a laugh.

"How much did you bet to be so happy?" Rogge asked him.

"I'm only having a little fun. Five hundred million Beli on Taishan." Doflamingo held up five fingers and smiled.

"Cheapskate." Rogge curled his lip.

Rogge had staked ten billion Beli for fun. Doflamingo had bet five hundred million. Naturally, Rogge looked down on him.

Doflamingo instantly lost all desire to keep talking. The bastard had killed the conversation. What was there left to say?

The other arenas finished their matches too, and the final four were decided. Gavin had lived up to expectations and made it through, letting every member of the Asura Pirates except Rogge breathe a sigh of relief.

Reaching the final four meant Gavin still had a chance, but after seeing Taishan fight, they were no longer especially hopeful.

"I've got a bad feeling." Ham rubbed his temples. His head was starting to ache.

"It's only ten billion Beli. Why worry so much?" Rogge said.

"Easy for you to say. That's ten billion Beli," Jelly shot back.
