Even that oaf Jack had stopped fighting and was watching nervously, let alone everyone else. Charlotte Linlin did not dare act rashly. They watched as Galette's butter spread toward the glass jars.

"Be careful," Ares said under his breath.

Crack!

At last, the butter enveloped the jars. Soft as it was, it caught them.

But the jars had fallen from too great a height. Unlike the Dyna Stone, they had no steel casing to reinforce them. They struck the butter directly, and the impact still shattered them.

"No! Hurry! Use heat—magma! Admiral Akainu, use your magma! This virus can't survive high temperatures. It takes heat above a thousand degrees to kill it! Don't let it reach the air. Once it does, it'll multiply without end until it finds a living host, then erupt inside them!" Ares shrieked.

Akainu frowned and glared at Ares. He had nearly forgotten that the greatest threat among the Asura Pirates was not Rogge, but this man. His killing intent flashed and vanished. Dealing with those things came first.

"Dai Funka!"

Akainu's solution was simple: he drove a fist straight into them. Butter and virus alike vanished beneath his magma, reduced to ash.

"Phew!"

With the virus gone, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Their lives had been at stake; the sight of that red liquid alone had been terrifying.

Bang!

Just as they relaxed, Rogge suddenly leaped upward using Geppo.

"Katakuri, don't let those people get away! Kill them!" Charlotte Linlin shouted, coming to her senses.

"Yes, Big Mom." Katakuri looked up.

But Rogge was faster. He was already in midair.
