When the flashes ended, scorched earth stretched everywhere. The light had generated tremendous heat, enough to ignite fires. Many parts of the country were burning, and even the tall buildings in the capital had been destroyed by the flashes and set ablaze.
A huge crater lay in the ground, with a burning vine tree inside it. Before long, the vine tree grew back, revealing Jelly and Jerry within. A large hole had been blasted through Jerry's abdomen.
