Seeing Rogge engulfed within the Sables, Crocodile smiled. His face was covered in blood, and his grin was terribly savage.
"Let's see how you survive this."
The enormous Sables continued to sweep across the area, growing larger and larger.
The sand flew everywhere, making it look like the end of the world. No one knew what would become of Rogge, who had been caught up in it.
"Rogge!"
Ham and the others grew worried. The enormous Sables reached a certain size, and after a long while, it finally began to shrink and slowly die down. A huge crater appeared before them.
"Not even a corpse remains." Crocodile sneered.
"You overestimated yourself."
Crocodile took out a cigar and bit down on it, then pulled out a lighter to ignite it.
"Bang!"
Suddenly, a fist burst out of the ground and punched Crocodile in the chin. Crocodile failed to react in time, and his entire body was sent flying.
Crocodile was knocked to the ground. He struggled to raise his head and look over.
A blood-covered man stood where he had just been. There was scarcely an uninjured spot on his body. Even his face was covered in wounds, with blood constantly seeping from them.
"Did you think I'd die from that? You really underestimated me." Rogge walked toward Crocodile step by step. He was drenched in blood, looking like a zombie as he advanced, blood dripping constantly from his hanging hands.
For some reason, when Crocodile saw the look in Rogge's eyes, a trace of unease welled up inside him. He had never been afraid before—not even when facing the Four Emperors. Yet for some reason, seeing Rogge's eyes at that moment made him feel a little afraid.
Dead silence. In Rogge's eyes, Crocodile saw a look he had never seen
