Ch. 176I Fought Ron for Three Days and Three Nights

Ron found two Devil Fruits, exchanged the Chop-Chop Fruit for the kekkei genkai One-Tail, and kept the Mythical Zoan Life Butterfly for Annika to consider. At Marine Headquarters, Zephyr woke after Sengoku slapped him and claimed he had fought Ron for three days and three nights before winning.

  • Ron found a Chop-Chop Fruit and a Mythical Zoan, Model: Life Butterfly, in the wooden box and decided to exchange the Chop-Chop Fruit while keeping the other for Annika.
  • Ron exchanged the Chop-Chop Fruit and received the kekkei genkai One-Tail.
  • Daisy thanked Ron for helping the mermaids and warned him that a Marine Admiral would arrive, but Ron said he was not afraid.
  • Ron told Kaido to leave, and the two departed with the wooden box while Kaido complained that Ron had interrupted his attempt to question Saint Bud.
  • At Marine Headquarters, Sengoku slapped the unconscious Zephyr until he woke, and Zephyr claimed he had fought Ron for three days and three nights before winning.

Ch. 177His Eyes Could Be Tattooed?

Zephyr learned that his battle with Ron had been an exceptionally realistic illusion caused by Ron’s eye-based ability. Meanwhile, Roger returned to the Oro Jackson alone and apologized to Gaban, who realized Rayleigh was missing.

  • Zephyr insisted to Tsuru and Sengoku that he had defeated Ron, but they questioned whether the battle had really happened.
  • Sakazuki told Zephyr that he had found him alone at Sabaody, muttering about an exhilarating battle, with no signs of a fight nearby.
  • Sakazuki explained that Ron’s patterned red eyes could control people, and Sengoku concluded that Ron’s ability had made Zephyr experience a false battle.
  • Zephyr recalled Ron’s strange eyes and stopped arguing as he began accepting that his three-day showdown had been an illusion.
  • Roger arrived alone at the Oro Jackson, knelt before Gaban, and repeatedly apologized.
  • Gaban found no sign of Rayleigh and understood from Roger’s apology that something had happened to him.

Ch. 178Golden Lion: Getting rich behind my back?

After Rayleigh's death, Roger was shaken out of his despair by Gaban and vowed to become strong enough to protect his companions. Meanwhile, Ron's group obtained a Devil Fruit for Annika, while Golden Lion suspected Ron and Kaido were secretly intercepting auction goods and arrived to find Annika eating it.

  • Gaban grabbed Roger and urged him to pull himself together after Rayleigh died, and Roger decided to grow strong enough to protect his companions.
  • Ron traveled with Kaido and Shukaku to find Annika, while Shukaku insulted Kaido and Ron pulled Shukaku back into his body.
  • Golden Lion suspected Ron and Kaido planned to intercept goods bound for auction, so he went looking for them.
  • Golden Lion found Ron's group and saw Annika chewing a Devil Fruit that Ron had given her.
  • Annika explained that she had eaten extra bites because she hoped to gain more power, and Golden Lion felt an ominous realization coming on.

Ch. 179The World Government's Move

Ron told Golden Lion that he had stolen a Devil Fruit after the Celestial Dragons moved the auction forward. Golden Lion accepted Ron’s explanation and flew off to collect the auction money.

  • Golden Lion began preparing a cigar, and Ron teased him about an old incident that made him throw it aside and ask where Ron got the Devil Fruit.
  • Ron said he stole it, prompting Golden Lion to accuse him of hiding the plan and withholding a share of the money.
  • Ron explained that the auction had been moved forward, while Kaido questioned what effort Golden Lion had contributed.
  • Annika vouched that she and Ron had arrived too late for the auction, and Golden Lion stopped arguing.
  • Golden Lion flew off to collect money from the auction house, and Ron guessed that was where he was going.

Ch. 180Should the Final Battle Begin?

Annika showed no immediate signs of awakening the Life Butterfly fruit’s power, while Ron experienced a strange dream before the Five Elders planned a trap for Rocks and the Rocks Pirates. The Elders left the decision to begin the final battle to Lord Imu.

  • Annika sensed no changes after eating the fruit, and Ron told her to give it time.
  • Ron dreamed of black threads attached to the Rocks Pirates and a river flowing backward, then controlled the dream and drank with them.
  • The Five Elders debated whether to use their opportunity to eliminate the Davy Clan and the Rocks Pirates, despite Ron’s connection to Rocks.
  • Saint Saturn proposed using Alice as bait to lure Rocks into a trap and Celestial Dragons and treasure to draw in the others.
  • The Five Elders agreed to prepare their plan and leave the final decision to Lord Imu.

Ch. 181This Was Not Good News

Whitebeard joined Ron, Kaido, and Annika in the Sabaody Archipelago, where Golden Lion revealed that the Celestial Dragons were holding a game at God Valley. Ron recognized the event as a major historical turning point and grew alarmed when he learned Rocks had left with Alice and remained away for half a month.

  • Whitebeard arrived at Ron and the others’ residence after growing bored at Hachinosu.
  • Whitebeard asked whether Annika was training, and she told him Ron had found her a Devil Fruit.

Ch. 182Ron: Then I'll Have to Ask My Fellow Transmigrant for a Sign

Ron warned that the God Valley Incident could decide the Rocks Pirates’ fate and considered attacking Mary Geoise to keep Imu and the Five Elders occupied. After learning Rocks was heading to Hachinosu, Ron changed plans and sought a sign about their journey, interpreting a die roll as good fortune.

  • Ron warned Shiki, Whitebeard, Kaido, and Annika that Imu and the Five Elders might intervene if Rocks clashed with the Celestial Dragons at God Valley.
  • Kaido suggested attacking Mary Geoise to prevent Imu and the Five Elders from reaching God Valley, and Ron praised the idea.
  • Whitebeard called Rocks using Golden Lion’s Den Den Mushi, and Rocks said he was nearly at Hachinosu.

  • Ron told Kaido, Whitebeard, and Annika that Rocks belonged to the Davy Clan and that the King of the World would likely target the clan and the Rocks Pirates at God Valley.
  • Ron warned them about the King of the World's Black Conversion Domination and urged Whitebeard and Kaido to avoid being stabbed.
  • Roger trained until he could control Nika's abilities almost perfectly.
  • Gaban showed Roger a newspaper announcing an enticing treasure that would attract many competitors, including the Rocks Pirates.
  • Roger agreed to go to God Valley and called on Ron to settle their grudges there.

Ch. 184Rocks: Stay or go, the choice is yours

At Marine Headquarters, Sengoku persuaded Garp to join the deployment to God Valley, though Garp refused to protect the Celestial Dragons and admitted he could not defeat Ron. The next day, Rocks announced an operation to the Rocks Pirates on Hachinosu and left it to each member to decide whether to go.

  • Sengoku explained that the World Government had ordered Admirals and elite Vice Admirals to God Valley, and Garp agreed to go after Sengoku invoked Roger, Rocks, and Ron.
  • Zephyr arrived at Sengoku's office, took a ship, and said he planned to challenge Ron again.
  • Garp warned Zephyr that surviving a fight with Ron did not mean he could match Ron's strength.
  • The next day, Rocks summoned the Rocks Pirates aboard the Saber of Xebec and said the operation offered nothing to gain, leaving each member to choose whether to go.

Ch. 185Everyone, make sure you come back safely

Rocks warned the crew that God Valley was a trap and said he intended to rescue his clansmen, not fight the World Government over treasure. Nearly everyone chose to join the operation, and Annika gave them safety charms before they left.

  • Rocks told the crew that the Navy and World Government were waiting to ambush them at God Valley, and that anyone who went might not return.

Ch. 186Golden Lion: Fight the King of the World? I want to run

Annika gave the Saber of Xebec’s crew Safety Charms and wished them a safe return before watching the ship sail for God Valley. Aboard the ship, Ron warned the crew that they would face Imu, the King of the World, and Golden Lion realized the mission involved the terrifying creature that had chased him before.

  • Annika handed out Safety Charms, and Golden Lion reluctantly took his back after Ron teased him.
  • Linlin assigned Zeus to protect Annika, while Whitebeard and Golden Lion offered to bring her gifts; Annika said she only wanted everyone to return safely.
  • Zeus carried Annika as she watched the Saber of Xebec depart, and Shukaku and Kokuō appeared beside her.
  • Aboard the ship, Rocks introduced Ron’s briefing about the God Valley operation.
  • Ron warned the crew that Imu could turn anyone he stabbed into a puppet using Black Conversion Domination.
  • Ron reminded Golden Lion of the creature that had chased him before, leaving Golden Lion frightened and wishing he could flee.

Ch. 187Saint Saturn: Easily kept in line

Ron and Golden Lion argued over their past, while Saint Saturn ordered Harald to intercept the Rocks Pirates on their route from Hachinosu to God Valley. Harald accepted despite doubting he could stop the entire crew, and the World Government prepared to benefit from the coming battle.

  • Golden Lion accused Ron of misleading him and throwing him at a monster, but Ron and Kaido insisted Golden Lion had made those choices himself.
  • Golden Lion argued with Kaido and Silver Axe before Ron ended the dispute and told them their choices were their own.
  • Saint Saturn contacted Harald and ordered him to intercept the Rocks Pirates between Hachinosu and God Valley.
  • Harald questioned whether someone else should take the assignment, but Saint Saturn reminded him of his place and Harald agreed to comply.
  • Harald warned that he could not guarantee he would stop the entire Rocks Pirates, and Saint Saturn told him to do his best before the call ended.

Ch. 188Meeting Harald again

As the Saber of Xebec sailed toward God Valley, Rocks told Ron and the others that a fortune-teller had predicted his death on the return journey, but he refused Ron’s offer to take his place. Ron sensed intense malice on the horizon, where a ship from Elbaf appeared.

  • Harald ordered his crew to bypass God Valley and continue along its route.
  • Linlin asked Ron about Imu, and Ron said he was immune to Black Conversion Domination after Imu had pricked him.
  • Rocks asked the others to rescue Alice if he died, then recounted a fortune-teller’s prediction that he would not return from the trip.
  • Ron offered to rescue Alice and Rocks’s people himself, but Rocks refused to retreat or leave the danger to Ron.
  • Ron sensed intense malice and spotted a ship from Elbaf approaching on the horizon.

Ch. 189Who taught you to greet people with a Tailed Beast Bomb?

Ch. 190You're a Bit Like an Incompetent Husband

Kaido attacked Harald, but Whitebeard and Rocks joined forces to stop Harald’s counterattack while Ron secretly destroyed Elbaf’s ship. Harald then turned his fury on Ron, whose Wood Golem caught Harald’s Haki-coated sword.

  • Kaido transformed into a dragon and fired a Bolo Breath at Harald, who deflected it toward the sea with his sword.
  • Harald leaped at Kaido with a Conqueror’s Haki-coated slash, but Whitebeard and Rocks intercepted him while Ron pulled Kaido out of the way with a Chakra Arm.
  • Whitebeard and Rocks drove Harald back, and he discovered that Ron had blown up Elbaf’s ship, leaving its warriors stranded in the water.
  • Harald shouted at Ron and slashed down at him, but Ron summoned a wooden arhat that caught the blade between its Haki-coated hands.

Ch. 191Reputation

Ron, Whitebeard, and Kaido fought Harald at sea, combining their attacks to bind and blast him. Golden Lion lifted the Saber of Xebec to leave, but Rocks knocked him off the ship and stopped him.

  • Harald refused to let Rocks and his crew pass, so Rocks asked Whitebeard and Ron to handle him.
  • Whitebeard attacked Harald with his naginata while Ron's wooden arhat seized Harald's sword, forcing Harald to dodge and defend against their follow-up attacks.

  • Kaido escaped the resulting explosion with burns, and Harald burst out of the smoke after Ron descended.
  • Golden Lion raised the Saber of Xebec with his Float-Float Fruit and announced that the crew was leaving, but Rocks kicked him off the railing and scolded him.

Ch. 192The God Valley Incident

  • Garp, Sengoku, and Zephyr watched the battle from a cliff, and Sengoku said the Rocks Pirates would come because they wanted something on the island.

Ch. 193They had arrived

Sakazuki routed the pirates trying to reach God Valley, but the arrival of the Rocks Pirates changed the battle. Garp and Zephyr rushed to confront them while Saint Garling chose to wait for the Marines to weaken them.

  • Garp and Sengoku discussed the pirates’ motives, and Garp noted that Zephyr’s promising student Sakazuki showed little mercy toward them.
  • Sakazuki fought across pirate ships, killing pirates and driving their fleet into retreat.
  • A loudspeaker announced an unidentified object, and the pirates recognized the approaching flying ship as the Rocks Pirates’ Saber of Xebec.
  • Garp charged down the mountain to confront the Rocks Pirates, and Zephyr followed despite Sengoku’s protests.
  • The Saber of Xebec arrived above God Valley, where Rocks unleashed Conqueror’s Haki that knocked out most Marines and Celestial Dragons.
  • Saint Garling decided to let the Marines fight the Rocks Pirates first and planned to take advantage of the battle with sneak attacks.

Ch. 194This was a gift

Ron gave the Rocks Pirates a Chakra Cloak before they set out for God Valley, where the Marines opened fire on them. The cloaks let the pirates walk across the sea as they advanced toward the island.

  • Saint Garling ordered a God's Knight to tell the Five Elders that the Rocks Pirates had arrived.
  • Rocks stopped using his Conqueror's Haki, and the pirates agreed to retreat after Ron signaled with a firework.
  • Ron pulled Golden Lion back onto the ship and shared his Chakra with the pirates, covering them in pale red cloaks.
  • Golden Lion flew toward God Valley, and the other pirates followed; Babel discovered the cloaks let them walk on the sea.
  • The Marines watched Rocks and his crew approach, then opened fire with their guns and cannons.

Ch. 195What Did You Do to Me Last Time?

Rocks's group came under cannon fire, and Ron destroyed the remaining shells after the others left him to act. As the group advanced across God Valley, Garp and Zephyr chased them, and Zephyr stopped Ron to ask what he had done to him last time.

  • Ron realized the others expected him to handle the cannonballs, then shattered the shells still falling with a shock wave.
  • Babel questioned why the group had let themselves get shelled, and Kaido argued with him over being left out.
  • Rocks ordered Ron to deal with Garp and Kaido to deal with Zephyr, but Ron suggested Linlin take Garp and Kaido switched to following Rocks.
  • Linlin and Babel held off Garp and Zephyr while Ron, Rocks, Whitebeard, and Kaido continued onward, but Garp and Zephyr broke free and resumed the chase.

  • Ron mocked Zephyr, who remembered Sengoku’s warning and told Garp that Ron’s power could activate through eye contact.

Ch. 197Your Buddha is gold, mine is wood-not worth as much as yours.

Ron held off the Marines at God Valley while Garp and Zephyr faced him, then Sengoku transformed into a golden Buddha to block Ron’s path. Ron challenged Sengoku to test his own wood-based form against Sengoku’s golden Buddha.

  • Zephyr admitted he had doubted Ron’s impossible ability, and Garp decided to leave Ron to him while pursuing Rocks.
  • Ron asked whether the World Government had arrived, then entered Sage Fox Mode and activated the Seventh Gate.
  • Ron rushed Garp and Zephyr, knocking both of them away with a punch.
  • Sengoku transformed into a giant golden Buddha and stopped Ron, while Garp got up after pretending to be unconscious.
  • Ron reminded Sengoku that he had thought Sengoku died last time and offered to pit his wood-based ability against Sengoku’s golden Buddha.

Ch. 198Shouldn't you shout something about bonds before charging at me?

Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr attacked Ron together on God Valley, but the Marines’ assault was followed by a quake attributed to Edward Newgate’s Tremor-Tremor Fruit. The chapter ended as the ground cracked and the Marines realized Newgate’s ability was shaking the island.

  • Rocks accused Whitebeard of causing the tremors with his Tremor-Tremor Fruit, but Whitebeard denied using his powers.
  • Rocks, Whitebeard, Linlin, and Kaido sensed danger and saw an enormous Thousand-Armed Buddha emerge from the dust near where Ron had landed.
  • Whitebeard recognized the Buddha's resemblance to Ron's technique, and Kaido flew toward it to help Ron.
  • The Marines lost their morale as Garp, Sengoku, and Zephyr stared up at Ron's towering Buddha.
  • Zephyr wondered if everything was fake after thinking he had seen Ron's eyes, and Garp told him he was not being controlled.

Ch. 200One of Rocks's Men? Worth Killing, Then (Including the Future Plot Direction)

Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr fought Ron’s Thousand-Armed Buddha as Ron escalated the attack with a barrage of Tailed Beast Bombs. Elsewhere on God Valley, Golden Lion Shiki was confronted by Saint Garling, who recognized his connection to the Rocks Pirates and decided he was worth killing.
